Adian Pitkeev is a 19-year-old world junior silver medalist Russian skater who retired from singles skating due to chronic back pain. He is a wonderful skater, I miss seeing him on the ice. He commentated during the GP series in a Russian television and said some very nice things about Yuzuru and it's very nice that in this new interview he mentioned Yuzu again (especially since he said in 2015 that his favourites are Yagudin and Chan, so maybe his opinion has changed since then? )

I like how Adian praises Yuzuru recently, especially that he said in an interview two years ago that Chan is his favourite skater.

The IOC presented the logo for Russian athletes at the Olympic Games

I thought they would announce it in January, because DEU will nominate the selected skaters to the German Olympic Committee in mid-January, but I think the approval of the committee is just formal.

He lost to Paul Fentz at Nationals last weekend and Fentz was selected to the Olympic Team. Germany has two spots for Europeans, so both Peter and Paul will be there but it will be Peter's last competition in his career.

It will be sad to see him retire, I'll miss his skating.

Javi has been struggling for over a year now with his free skates... The last really good FS he skated was at Rostelecom last season, then he also skated well at Trophée de France where he only missed an axel I think...but since then, he's been struggling and he only did well in short programs. He recently said that his energy is already going away, so it could be one of the reasons that he can't really do well especially in the second half of the programs. I really hope that somehow he can get stronger by January and then we'll see what happens at the Olympics where so many unpredictable things could happen. His weapon will be the experience and that he can handle the pressure quite well. Anyway: Javi dedicates his eight Spanish title to his family, friends, fans and sponsors

I have two magazines of Figure Skate Memorial (this which has pictures of Worlds and this about CoR) and both have around 20 pages of very nice, good quality Notte Stellata pictures. I can recommend those or other Figure Skate Memorial magazine from last season. I love this magazine because 110 out of 115 pages are only Yuzu pictures
