Any chance Koshiro could pick up that second JPN assignment at NHK? :smiley-angelic001:

If Dai is not quite ready by then but if Dai wants it, JSF will make it happen... :graucho:

If it's not, Koshiro has only one spot I think, so there's plan B.

Yeah, I want Koshiro to have a  2nd spot too...  It's always not enough spots ;;

Yeah I am glad Karen's comeback is on track! Her big jumps and her spirals will be very welcome.

Why is it so Hard? Are tickets sold before hand or is it the price or the language?

There aren't many chances for the Japanese fans to see and cheer for Yuzu in his home country...

But tickets sell very well in general because the popularity of the sport, there are the Japanese ladies, too. Many fans buy all-event tickets.

WAIT OMG HAN YAN IS BAACKK YES

also yeah TBD at NHK is probably Dai. I hope he's been training hard and has more stamina for the long now. Also, though Dai doesn't pose any significant threat to Yuzu, it'll be interesting to see them compete against each other...when was the last time that happened?

At the Sochi Olympics.

But without the Canadian silver, right?

Both Sota and Han Yan with GP assignments this time, bless.

If it means smooth sailing for the rest of the season as well as a healthy dose of kuyashii power, I'll take that first pancake. :muahaha:

I don't even dare to imagine which ladies will qualify in the GPF ... omg

It'll be a bloodbath in every Grand Prix. But on the other hand, ladies' skating hasn't been this exciting or unpredictable in a long time... :10636614:

ETA: lol Everybody's had the same thought.

I've gone off Dai considerably since The Scandal which was awful but he is an amazing skater regardless.

Huh? What scandal?

Spoiler

The TV variety show thing where he basically said he's a leg guy and likes Alina's legs. :/ Creepy, man, not on.

HAN Yan’s back, great news all round.

All round, the men’s field looks quite sane considering what’s happening in ladies; the seeded skaters look like they got even chances. Don’t want to jinx it but I think Yuzu’s ok. Especially NHK where he should get gold  where he should do well considering the field. But ice dance is exciting - French vs Italians vs russians.

His comments about Alina's legs. And Alina is at NHK.

Yes...it's a real shame that Dai these days is quite different to what he was once before the retirement. Also JSF pushing the wrong direction instead of supporting the next generation so I really gave up on all of them...
