Me too...i love this sort of dark-ish side of Kaori!the slower moment of the program aren't that good to me but versus the end when the music picks up she's really extraordinary!

also what she doeas around 1.03/1.05 of the 1st video it's really cool.

I can't say I'm not disappointed that Shae and Shoma collab turn out like that. I don't like great spirit, the program and concept are messy, and imo, it doesn't fit as a competitve program 

 

Kaori's LP does remind me abit of Skyfall. What make Skyfall amazing is Wakaba's wild and abondoned energy and her projection the audience. That's what Kaori lack, but it would improve as the season goes.  For now she just try to keep up with the music, the same with her SP. Her arm and upperbody movement need a lot of works. 

 

Marin's LLL is actually quite nice, better than Lovers. She's so charming and know how to perform, the way she move across the ice and her soft knee bend are to die for. Her jumps are a big sigh and its sad to see.

I wouldn't say that Kaori lacks projection, I liked her connection with the audience at Helesinki FS a lot. But of course I don't expect her to skate it in full force now, I think even Skyfall shined only at Milano Worlds though I liked the program from the start.

I like the slower moment and I think it's the most memorable music from OST, at least for me, though I can't help but think about Joubert when I hear it, so I'm happy that other music peace is different))

Of course, I think I should make it clear that Wakaba has better projection than Kaori but Kaori is not bad. The tiny ice show rink may effect on most program look like, especially with Kaori and her great speed. At some point, I thought she would jump out of the rink. Milano Skyfall is iconic but the COC/Lombardia performances are amazing as well.

Watched Rika's fp and Marin's fp: 

 

Rika's program looks like it was made for Satoko, with arm movements, choreo etc., that remind of what Satoko has done in the past. It struck me from the very first few seconds. At this point it could be Satoko out there, apart from the jumps, of course.

 

Marin's program was very Marin, and her charm is obvious as usual. If I could just watch the skating and not care about the jumps, I'd rather watch Marin move across the ice. She's just so smooth on her edges compared to Rika, and loose on the ice, but that's just imho.

 

And kaori's sp is very different to the above 2 programs.  Kaori is bringing her own style, as she should, and in no way resembles anyone else out there.

the music should be Liquid Paradise by The Speakeasies Swing Band....I like Ivett,she has that something that makes her stand out among all the other skaters.

If only Nate can skate so freely in competition... it has potential to be fun.

 

On the other hand, I saw some info somewhere that Kosto isn't repeating her SP after all but using other song from Twilight? Does someone know if it is confirmed?

I am not even sure the first song works for skating. It felt like he was skating while the radio was on and a random song started playing. Who choreographed this?
