ETA: Just... when you guys read the rest of the article remember that Chiddy has a habit of being a bit egotistical....

Sometimes I wonder if Patrick thinks he's Yuzu? Kidding...

I've been looking forward to the Canadians in the team event for a while! I'm glad he realizes he can get a gold medal. And while it's not an individual gold medal, gold is gold...

Greenest Olympics in history ♻️

Watching Patric fall apart at SC was a very painful experience even though he is not my favorite skater. So I am fine with what he said in the article if it helps restore his confidence and motivation. Despite his faults, Patrick is a beautiful and accomplished skater that deserves to end his career on high note.

I really hope he does well at Nats and the Olympics and I will be cheering for him and Keegan :smiley-happy105:

I like that they chose the people who made the podium. I know BOW was to be considered but no one else really had enough of that to make a strong enough case. The podium finishers made the decision easier, just as Slipchuk was hoping it would.

I'll miss Lubov and Dylan:tumblr_inline_n18qr8XewT1qid2nw:
Haven't had time to watch competitions held in January yet so I don't know how they performed at Nationals, but they are my favorite Canadian pair.
Happy for Piper and Paul:tumblr_inline_n18qrbDQJn1qid2nw:

The Miracle of Elladj Balde

Quote

“My performance here was for my audience. I mean all the fans that were there watching, all the skaters that were watching, the coaches, the judges. The judges were the audience for me. They weren’t judges. I was performing for my audience, for myself.”
