yuzuangel Posted October 23, 2018 Share Posted October 23, 2018 Sigh, Polina Tsurskaya seems like the type of skater who needs time to blossom, but could be World/Olympic champion caliber when she does, and that's just not possible in Russia right now. If she skated for another country she could have less pressure to skate with injuries (which I'm afraid of for all skaters in Russia tbh because one missed/bad competition could sideline your entire season). Liza shows that it's possible for a skater to have a bad couple of seasons and then come back with a vengeance, even in Russia.
