Well, barring anything too miraculous in the Ladies', for individual events:

 

Japan only medals in Men (1-2, tho. And I mean, Miyahara and/or Sakamoto could perhaps maybe probably pull it off, but that's a long shot)

OAR only medals in Ladies (tho they would perhaps take 1-2 (and 3 - horror - if the others bomb too badly), to my eternal facepalming)

China only medals in Pairs

US only medals in ID

Only Canada has medalled in  2 events so far (probably 3 depending on how the Ladies' goes)

 

No more 'domineering' country (Canada could argue for its case, probably). I'm kinda wondering if that's the point of Team Event.

I’m feeling the Canadian realness right now. I want that lumberjack jacket. If they go gold, bronze, gold, bronze, they’ve won the Olympics.

I live for more Yuzu-Boyang hugs  But imagine how awesome it would be if Yuzu just appeared at the gala, did the spiral with Misha and Boyang, and then disappeared again

anyone else scared for satoko because of that tarot thingy (the same one that correctly predict yuzu's future)? Because I am. Scared that is.

It's not a Challenger series comp, it's just called the Challenge Cup. It's a low-level international competition (and at the same time the Dutch championships, which is a joke, because there's like one senior Dutch man and two senior Dutch ladies, lol).

It's this weekend in The Hague. Rika Hongo and Marin Honda are also there, plus a few senior Japanese men, junior and advance novice men and women.

In Japan, we often say that there is a demon who lives in an Olympic rink or Olympic venues in general, to express how hard it is to compete in Olympics under huge pressure, expectations, etc. The interviewer is referring to that. 

 

Wakaba will take part in Challenge Cup this week end.
