If it's a media coping strategy it's genius

So, if this is true ... no Javi at the Gala??? Why ...

I think I read he is returning for the gala. Maybe the urge to go home and share his medal was overwhelming!!

Go Boyangman!!! May the Force be with you!

Hehe... now that he has declared his desire for a stuffy rain, I am sure it will happen. He will be cheered like crazy in Beijing!

Carpe Diem - seize the moment. If he's going to establish FS in Spain he needs to drive home the momentum of that medal- not loll around the Olympic village.  I read somewhere pages back that he intended to fly back for the gala.

I read somewhere he might come back for the gala. It’s at least a week away right?

I posted this in General thread, but I think it is also relevant to this OG thread.

When they announced Yuzu was the gold medalist, the rating was 46% (which was the highest). This is only second to Mao's silver at 2010 Vancouver which was 46.2% (highest). 2014 Sochi's highest was 23.1%.

The average viewership of PyeongChang Men's FS was 33.9%. The medal ceremony, broadcasted by Asahi, was 18.5%

ETA: It should be noted that the highest 46% was during the afternoon (2pm) in Japan time.

Sendai's viewership was 41.2% on average. The highest was 56% when Yuzu was confirmed to be the gold medalist.

I was watching the NBC stream and their discussions before and after the events, so I cut out the different parts and uploaded them to this folder here if you are interested in watching:

After watching so many of these discussions, I think Tanith and Charlie are the most knowledgeable on the desk....

@Raomina you're an angel

So happy for Javi!!!

I was looking through ladies' practice notes and... Lilbet is having a pretty bad time of it, poor girl.

Kaori and Satoko look good enough. Alina is nailing everything, apparently, and so it Zhenya. No surprises there. Now Zhenya, please tell us honestly that you are indeed recovered. And may the 2A that left Yuzu come to you for your skates.
