Zijn was a whole different class. Still feel salty about her.

Go, Alena!

Yes, show us, grandma!

I don't really like Alena's performance...I think she failed to capture the essence of Indian dance, and so her skate looks awkward to me.

Yeah, Alena!

Alena, go...

she's having fun!!!

Clean!!!

This program is so tacky, but it's great to see her bringing it! I still remember her meltdown from last year GP...

Good job, grandma. The point is, she did what she could do and she's happy with that. You can't ask more than doing your best.

Now that is simply lovely to see!

That's what you call a victory dance. Love it!

Great that Alena's clean!!! So far the ladies event is looking good!

And I think Davis and White set the standard too high...Alena did try to incorporate Indian dance gestures, but they seem lackluster because it's very difficult to capture the nuance of those moves...

Alena has an interesting program but she drops and picks up the character depending on the element she is doing which is not great..

Good fight, glad she was clean and she is very happy so good for her

Alena's coach: See, it's turns up you can do it!

Both of them are happy for their skates, and there is nothing more heartwarming to see than that. I hope to see more victory smiles and dances after them.  Good job ladies!
