This is my first time following the Grand Prix Series real time since I got into figure skating right after GPF last year. Boy, it really gives you no rest! I've got tickets to CoC and I'm so excited to see so many skaters I like for the first time! I can't even begin to name them. But here are my biggest wishes: Sui/Han bring their new programs to life. See some exquisite lutz's from Boyang and maybe Mikhail.(I'm still on a 4Lz high from CoR honestly...) Mai continues to skate clean and Wakaba joins her. Just to see PC's beautiful free dance. All that depends, though, on whether my internship duties call on me on Fri. and Sat. afternoons or not... Figure skating gods, please stay by my side!

Have fun @PomeloPooh! All the skaters you've named, please cheer them for me too :tumblr_inline_n2pjcwwxgn1qdlkyg:

Especially Boyang and our Japanese ladies. And Alina too!

I do hope your internship leaves you in peace for the weekend.

Have a great time there! :tumblr_inline_mueoe3Yabh1qdlkyg:

The ladies field is just a bloody massacre of so much talent. Yeah, Skate Canada should have adopted at least three of those... but they wouldn't have wanted to.

Men will be interesting. I wonder if Mika (Misha for me) will be able to fight for a higher spot than the third place.

Pairs and dancers seem to be more predictable.

Due to my Russian-speaking friend I am also used to calling him Misha.

Mika has the potential to win, I just don't know if he quite believes it yet. Since I like Javi, Mika, and Boyang, I don't want to make a prediction!

Me and my friend also talk about  this.  We think it's kind of like he needs more killer instinct.  I do think confidence would take him a long way. He has all the skills in the world to challenge for the podium (and should be a 2016 WBM if you ask me).

What's happening? 2 withdrawals 3 days from the competition.

Thank you, I will!:tumblr_inline_mzx8xsVPrg1r8msi5:Ah, yes, and bb Alina! May she continues to spread Russian super consistency power and "revenge" for Zhenia's cor fall.

Social media says Zijun withdrew because of injury, though there's no official confirmation... At this rate, she's practically out of the competition for our one Olympic spot according to the selection rules.:slinkaway: I thought she'd be able to put up a fight for it...:unsure2:

what kind of injury does she have? how long will she be unable to train?

poor Zijun! my heart breaks for her!

That sounds like she will compete but will have a break for treatment. If it's a day or two, it shouldn't affect her too much but it is unfortunate because the time is so tight for her. Though if that break is enough, the injury itself is probably quite minor.
