Boyang’s 3S in the 1lo3S combo was like a turn out. I think judge was easy on that one and it shouldn’t be called a clean landing. No flow out of the jump is still considered no mistake, but it’s a turn out.

I would give him a bit benefit of doubt. Its not the best combo of him, but this jump at WC is ok enough. This happen quite often. There're many jump got positive GOE while being less clean in reality.  I still consider Boyang had the most recent clean comp among top men, at least the protocols said so.

Of course Boyang was the cleanest at WC 2017. Just saying I wouldn’t think the level of his execution should be considered to be squeaky clean as that 3A1lo3S looks like a slight turn out to me.

His quality in element is not there yet, but then, only Patrick's 4CC16 FS and Javi's WC16 FS can be on par with Yuzuru in term of great execution. Out of all youngster, only Boyang can say he have clean comp so far. It took Yuzu quite long to skate clean both SP and LP in a comp/ Let's be a bit generous to Boyang

I noticed his jumps are really bigger this season, how did he do that??? but yeah the axis of lutz and loop is all over the place, bet you he and Brian will have a talk about that 

and special mention of that last axel, I almost expect him to do a quad out of that (jk don't kill me) it's just that huge

That last axel... Seriously.. Did he jump with almost no speed for that axel ? I thought he has no speed but he can still jump that high.

Perhaps that makes the landing not so good? 

 

The commentators are actually backing up Yuzu 

By the way, when I came back home from the arena I watched Yuzu's FS with TAT's commentaires. She is true Yuzu's fan, except the fact she didn't expect 4luz (she was so surprised and after it kept praising Yuzu for progressing and challenging new things). Then she seemed really upset about loop (she sad that this jump gone; I hate this expression; I heard her saying this for Mao's 3axel before) but added that it happens when you challenge new layout. The main thing, she said that this program is absolutely new except music because the elements are new and Yuzu is different (in a good way) now. And she kept saying that traditional music matches him perfectly and gives him power (she sad this already in 2015). Finally, she was so surprised when Nathan won. She didn't show it by words, but I felt she was sad for Yuzu. 

Oh, and in the very beginning it was funny: Grishin said that a lot of Japanese fans came to see Yuzu and TAT simply responded: "You know, I'm also Japanese fan. I'm HIS fan".

I know, TAT are her minuses, but the fact she keeps cheering up for Yuzu (including Sochi) and defending him is so sweet.

P.S. Oh, I almost forgot. TAT said Yuzu asked to give Poohs to orphanages.
