I love Kolyada's 4Lz too! He has as little setup time as Yuzu (and both have less than Nathan and Boyang) but it seems higher. I'm not sure of its distance, though, I'd love to see an analysis on the distance of this jump. We have some data on Yuzu's and Boyang's, though!

That's their height, not the jump's height. Though technically Yuzu is 172cm. 

I am saying both are 170cm tall in the analysis...if height is used to figure out distance..then...

They should have analyzed the two 4lz Yuzuru landed beautifully in practice. It’s not leaning and definitely bigger than the one he landed in competition.

Someone have gifs of both his practices perfect 4lz and his competition one? I can give it a stab, but usually if someone is tilted in air I think it is the upper body take off angle. Oh, and I feel like his jump had a weird whiplash feel, like curved rather than a jump straight up and back. 

 

Also just watched Aliev's long, and it was okay. Given his ankle injury, he did a good job, so wish him luck.

They said in the comments it's hard to do so due to the video quality and angle of the practice 4Lzs.

I am sorely tempted to say he had more height but less distance in practice, but seriously, a 3 meter baby 4lz from Yuzu.... I am gushing at that now.

That free skate was such a wild experience for me. I expected that I would be freaking out but that much? I felt totally sick when it began. 

Baby Lutz though! I yelled like crazy when he landed that thing, I didn't know I could yell that loud, my poor neighbors... That save was freaking amazing, I am so so glad he landed it, wow. 

And how extra was the new way of bowing? So in character! 

Yes, and I'm totally in love with the new costume, so regal, so gorgeous
