Of course I wanted Yuzu to win, but all in all his performances were very good: he was fighting in FS this time, landed 4Lz  (now he needs to have a conversation with 4Lo really), but most of all I was stunned by the last 3 jumping passes - there was no hesitation in those 2 combos and last huge 3A  And I don't know how he's doing it but he's becoming better and better in technique and death of interpretation every year when many thought that he already showed perfection. The boy really deserves all the gold in the world (I could say all the love in the world but it was too obvious he already has it )

One thing we learned from CBC commentary... Kurt loves those forward simple steps near the end of the SS too. He said it is his favourite part of the program, lol!!!! Just like the rest of us, eh Kurt?

Anyways, let me brag a little: today, my parents saw the Men's FS with me, and when Yuzuru's Step Sequence came up, my dad said:

"You know, you can see he is different. Even if you don't know anything about skating (he was referring to himself). He does different things. Skates in a different way".

 

It was very satisfactory  

 

Plus, at the end of the program, I was like "EEEEK HE'S SO WINNING SILVER. THAT WAS KINDA BAD." but they were like "What are you talking about!! He was amazing!!" and I was like "YEA SURE I KNOW BUT. GODDEM MISTAKES."
