It's hard to explain, but I'm more a fan of her as a person than I am of her as a skater. But she can continue to grow. For me her new Anna Karenina LP is promising.

If he achieves her mental state, he'd be in GPF15 Seimei mode all the time. No other man can compete then. 

But that's why they're friends though no, she's more calm and rational, and he's the feely one (yeah I know he's capable of logic, but he still screams feelings to me).

carrots everywhere  (edit: well, half of them get ur calls n 3 ladies get !. i hope this is a lesson for wakaba n her team, change the flip. honestly she'd get 2nd highest tes here if everything goes right for her, about 40 points, which is only less than 2-3 points from zhenya. it's a shame if she gets stuck on this bc her programs are wonderful)

Someone explain Wakababy's 7's in the PCs scores please. 

There are other female skaters who land their jumps with just as much or better control, speed etc., as Med, but why don't they just add a simple little move after they land a jump like she does? It gives her huge transition marks, and yet no one else does it... they copy and add tanos and rippons which is hard, but you would think just adding a little turn, or extending the free leg higher into a spiral would be doable instead of just landing and doing crossovers....

Ugh, looks like rotating jumps is just not happening for her.

Though she's smart to add the 3A. She just needs to not fall. US Nationals (the most important competition...for HER...) historically has a really lenient tech panel. So I think working on the 3A instead of her URs was somewhat of a smart move, although she needs to either win nationals or be 2nd or 3rd and NOT beat Ashley/Karen at Nationals if she doesn't have the international resume to be sent over them.

Anyway, this was pretty good, no? Poor Mirai aside, who should fight it, there's still the free, did land the 3A after all and all the ladies were so good.

I like protocols like that  Of course I assume TP was strict on everyone the same, because I didn't see most ladies (I forgot to converse Moscow time ) , so please correct me if I'm wrong

Great competition, bit upset about Wakaba's  SP score, but program is wonderful, Evgenia-consistent as always. she really is unique competitor, but why on earth Carolina's score for performance is lower than Evgenia, It's the only thing I'll never understand...

Kaori got the second highest TES of the night. Her PCS are still from a new senior coming off juniors, though. She'll grow with the program, I'm hoping!
