I never care too much about points and stuff, but... exactly how logical is it that Kaori gets showered with 3s and some 2s on LSp4, but two judges give her 0 ? How can those marks be so far apart? 

All the talk about Evgenia's consistency is interesting, but Yuzu doesn't lack it because of wrong headspace, but because he changes things and upgrades often. Evgenia has skated similar programs with the same tech for 3 years now (I believe the only thing she upgraded was her SP combo last season). That's quite a different story from an extra quad every year. 

 

The tech panel call almost everything I think. Very good. Mirai's 3A looked ok in real time, but in slow motion, its was UR. Wakaba's calls was fair, and she know that's things she have to work. That's why Iike it when tech panel was fair and give the right calls to everyone, especially my faves. 

 

There should be a bigger gap between Elena and Wakaba.

Option 1. These judges are very strict on spins.

Option 2. Political judging.

This. Even with the Chopin, he has like 3-4 different layouts, and 2 quad SP is always high risk. With Seimei, the whole layout was changed, only 3F stay the same. That said, I also have mad respect to Evgenia, its not easy either to skate clean many times like that. Many ladies did the same layout for years and still make mistake left and right.

Well, She's got potential...

French judge LOVED Kaori. Their PCS scoring is wild when you compare to the others.
