I love this girl, there's something wild and untamed about her. Very good flow across the ice in her stsq. 

 

There is something about Alena's jumps, too... I cannot put my finger on it. Leg wrap, slightly? Or what would that be called? Or am I just seeing things?

 

edit: don't really see it in the slowmo, guess it's just my tired eyes then. 

And that's her second GP in two weeks!!! Just amazing!

Alena skated so well. I think her 2A is one of the best from Eteri's girls. She gets really good height. she's a very calm skater... not much flailing around. Very nice... and yet another beast of a competitor!!!

It still has to be worked on, it's true. Hope they do - she's capable of pulling it off, but then it could become a problem.
