yeah the cor swan gala was truly a treasure!!!

 

I completely understand what people said about being outside time and space, of seeing an angel. This is so like a dream world, I can imagine how much more incredible he would be. I’m glad I couldn’t sell my ticket. It’s given me 1,000,000 times more motivation to get to see him! 

It must've been wonderful to see them so near and up close  And that program of theirs, so amazing.

Its so strange. It’s like being in a dream and time doesn’t exist. Is that normal or am I really weird? (Also he would have been 3m in front of my face!) VM were amazing. I think the right people got the right medals. Twizzles live actually give that tingly scalp thing you get at the hairdressers!

omg yes i am like beyond grateful that my moscow trip worked out fine and i actually got to see yuzu in all his glory☺️

 

hope those of you in japan will still have a half decent time... the food is awesome and there are many sights to see so please take care

 

and lets hope yuzu recovers soon and we will see him in some other streams or videos soon🤞🏻

Deniss was so amazing I used up all my energy standing and clapping and cheering for him that I was too exhausted for the rest of the comp to give more than a golf clap! XD

Is skating even a real thing? Are Sui Han real people? Also she reminded me of a beautiful little duck and now I can’t unsee it.

Just split with @SparkleSalad and heading back. That was awesome and I'm happy I went! Although there was very obviously something - someone - missing.

 

Personally, I think from the current seniors, Deniss is the only one who might one day reach almost Yuzu levels of popularity. He's awesome to watch and really, really charming, too.

 

But everyone was great and I already can't wait for Milan and being second row!

Ok, finally packed, fed and my headache has somewhat gone to sleep, too. Today was really, really cool. Admittedly, I've never watched a non-Yuzu gala, but I definitely felt his absence. The all skaters part was pretty short and everyone was kind of like "what should we do know?" every few moments. It was cute, but definitely shorter than if Yuzu had been there.

 

I saw the NHK interview on TV right as I got home. It was good to see him and he even smiled a bit, but he still looked pretty devastated to me. But determined. I'm happy if he's already on his way to Toronto.

 

I'm heading to Tokyo tomorrow. And ideally Sendai on Tuesday...

@SparkleSalad and @KatjaThera I am glad you two had a good time in the gala.. Not seeing Yuzu after coming all the way must be sad but you can still enjoy his favorite thing right?

 

I hope you both have fun in Japan, and a safe trip back home
