Thanks guys! @KatjaThera that sounds like such a cute idea! I need to write a new letter, too. I thought I’d tell him how much I’ve gone through just for the sake of seeing him but I guess now that would be sort of an unintended guilt trip. :dpooh:

Yeah... I guess it'd work if you said you don't regret it and will do it again to see him. But I guess that could be difficult, too ^_^; I started writing something while freezing my ass off in the heavy winds at Osaka Castle, but it turned out super long, so I'll have to shortern it. And simplify it. Because no way I can do it in Japanese, too

And if you have suggestions what else I could write, feel free to make them. (I even thought one for each day left until the Olympics, but... that's quite a lot of imagination to use, so however many I can think of...)

@SparkleSalad Go to the gala, you already have the tickets and it should be a relaxed atmosphere.

Make as much as you can of your trip and I am sure you will get to see Yuzu in the future, I am a firm believer in the saying  "where there's will there's way" and you will find the way   :snpeace:

Honestly I don’t see why everyone has to be so gosh darn charitable all the time giving their blood away for free so I can’t get good money for mine.

Who knows maybe you will win the lottery

I personally did extra hours of demonstrations to pay for the trip to Worlds. I am sure there are options for you, but you are probably not in the right mindset at the moment because of what happened. So, my advice is to try and enjoy your trip as much as possible since you already paid for it (and you are there now) and when you get back home and finish processing everything, you can start looking into what you can do for the future :tumblr_inline_mzx8x6OEBn1r8msi5:

Seriously, try to have fun, you are in Japan it is a great place

Oh man I wrote a thing and it was long and now it’s gone and I’m too sleepy to rewrite. :13877886:

1. I would tell him because I would gladly suffer the rest of my life to see him, I’m not even kidding, but he’d still probably feel guilty or think I’m a lunatic (when did I become so tragic?) So I’m still scratching my head.

2. I don’t remember #2. Something about NHK disaster happening for a reason so I can see UA SEIMEI (because universe revolves around me). My mum even wants to see UA SEIMEI, it’s that legendary!

3. Obstacle at this point is financial after throwing all my savings away but have learnt some good things about my condition and how to cope travelling alone so not a complete waste. Yay. Somehow make money. God gave us two kidneys for a reason, right?

4. I saw a baby 🦇 fly out in front of me at Osakajo tonight and it was super cute and not at all like Australian baby bats. It was less cold than the windy daytime! The only time I’ve been cold this trip is in that damn castly wind!

5. I didn’t realise ice dance started so early. :13877886: I shall see how I am in the morning but hope I can at least see V&M.

I can’t really work because of chronic illnesses so I live a pretty penny pinching life. That’s why I’m so devastated (it took me 4 years to save up this money :13877886:). But I will work something out. I don’t know how but I just have to. Just please don’t say the word lottery to me again! :tumblr_m7etfqA8wS1qb1380: Lottery trauma is real condition, you guys!

I gave myself today to be as depressed and fetal and cry-y as I could to get it all out in one go and I think it worked.

Sorry, I was just trying to cheer you up.. If there is anything I could do to help let me know, I will gladly do it

What I take away from this is that from now on you can travel the world alone (not talking about money, ok), and this — to me, in my life, is a wonderful achievement. There are so many things we achieve from admiring the Yuzu:smile:.

I am so impressed with your traveling and coping with this all!!

Haha no I was kidding! haha I’m sorry, I don’t know how to change my tone of voice on this thing!

No, no, I agree! I didn’t think I would travel ever again (last time 7 years ago) and I was so scared of just getting by at home before I found Yuzu and now I’m surviving in another country and I haven’t been scared once. Sick a lot, but not scared. :) I’m thinking of sending him some photos of the beautiful things I never would have seen without him as my guiding light (WHO WANTS SOME CORN! GET YOUR CORN HERE!)

See, same! I've always wanted to travel the world alone but never had the guts to do so until I decided I'd make the trip(s) to see Yuzu (granted, this trip ended up being a family trip, lmao). Both this trip and my Korea trip next year started out cos I want to see him!! Tho I never did get NHK tickets and never got to see him in the flesh this time--seeing so much of him in ads and the Photo/Poster Memorial Exhibit gives me so much life.

Don't worry about it, we are all feeling bad and trying to cheer each other up.. I truly wish that you can see Yuzu very soon and forget the heartbreak and all the hardships you had this time :10742289:

Here, a pretty smiley Yuzu to make life brighter

Lmao I'm here right now! I planned this entire trip on NHK, so during the competition I'm here in Kansai. XD Will spend one more day here and then back to Tokyo for the last three days.

I promised my friends I'd come back soon (I only just visited in January). Didn't think it would happen the year after, hee. :tumblr_inline_mqt4grU8ua1qz4rgp:
