NHK Trophy 2017 in Osaka, Japan

Immediately inside the venue is very warm then I would say the heating in my seating area at least was perfect. The chair, on the other hand. My hip would like to have a quiet work with it!

Hmm I thought it might be a Japanese ensuring guests are warm thing lol I wonder if other rinks are the same... I'll be virtually ice level at Milano, so it moght get cold there... but at least I can come not carrying a hundred jackets tomorrow. lol

:13877886: I’m just gonna leave this here as a visual representation of my soul’s death.

I think I might try to cancel the rest of my trip and fly home on Monday. Whether or not I can sell the ticket I guess I can still save some money to put towards Olympics or Worlds. Not sure if I’m thinking clearly but bleh.

Is canceling cheaper? Wouldn't it normally be more expensive? I'm thinking plane tickets specifically...

Only an extra $40-50 to change my flight, actually.

Maybe I should go into Kyoto tonight. I dunno what I’m doing anymore. I wish I’d planned Tokyo as my last stop.

Ah, I see... then it could be worth it. I'd say sleep on it tonight and decide tomorrow? Maybe you'll feel better and more confident.

As a slight cheer me up, I'm drinking a warm yuzu drink. And going to Umeda, to see if I can find Kinokuniya...

If you're going to Kyoto, that means losing both the money and experience of tomorrow, though.

I just meant for a short trip and back. I might be able to push it to go in the morning, too, then one last time on Monday. Then I’d be able to crash for a month when I’m back home.

Ah, I see. Then maybe do that? ^_^ I might miss you, then, as I'm meeting my other EX half at 11am tomorrow. Or maybe I'd see you when we leave and we can wait out the crowds together ^_^;

Seimei Shrine is crowded, though...

Well it looks like I’m stuck with my ticket so off I go tomorrow!

I wasn’t able to drag my depressed self out of bed until 5pm and then I walked around Osaka castle in the dark and decided bugger it, I will find a way to get to Worlds. (My bank account just screamed so loud my ears are bleeding.) If Yuzu can find a way to get there so can I. (God, please make it to Worlds) I need to have as much faith in myself as I have in him, damnit, she said as she nearly spilled her salad everywhere... then nearly spilled it everywhere again. Omg.

Sparkle, ganba! :pouty:

Where there's a will, there's the way. Or so they say... I really hope you find that way and we can meet again in Milan! Until then, maybe I'll see you tomorrow, too. I have yet to write my new letter... and I had an idea of writing short, encouraging messages on little post-its, with Poohs on them, but I have no idea what to write ^_^; Maybe "Listen to your coaches!" "4A is for post-Olympics" "Tell 4Lz to behave or dump it" and such... :xD:

@SparkleSalad Go to the gala, you already have the tickets and it should be a relaxed atmosphere.

Make as much as you can of your trip and I am sure you will get to see Yuzu in the future, I am a firm believer in the saying  "where there's will there's way" and you will find the way   :snpeace:

ETA: @KatjaThera said the same thing

GMTA :darklordyuzu:

Thanks guys! @KatjaThera that sounds like such a cute idea! I need to write a new letter, too. I thought I’d tell him how much I’ve gone through just for the sake of seeing him but I guess now that would be sort of an unintended guilt trip. :dpooh:
