Yes, that final move is to die for. And it remind me of a similar one he first did in the SP at GPF 2016. He wanted to connect more with the audience this season, but now he commands the audience .

I noticed that, too then and both then and now it made me think of two things.

 

One is the hesitant way Shoma tends to take to the ice (admittedly, maybe I only happened to see those moments. I think it's cute anyway lol)

 

And two, is this epic moment

I guess off ice to on ice is easier than on ice to off ice (more seriously, I just finished re-watching asaichi and he did say it's hard to walk after practice, because he's used to gliding... so, yeah lol)

I've only skated once but yeah, that happened to me, i was tripping everywhere after skating and it felt very weird to walk (and disappointing... i miss the ice)

OMG I can't deal with the happiness in his face.

He fell off ice this season too actually, Brian said so, I think at the AC. I want to wrap him up in bubble wrap sometimes!

I have to say I've never skated - though I did promise a friend that if I reach a personal goal, I'll go skating with her - but it makes a lot of sense.

I think it's the same for everyone - every time I skate for more than 1 hour and a half, I get off with wobbly feet. And I don't do jumps or anything, so I can only imagine the stress and fatigue Yuzu's ankles live through!

Yuzu gifs are highly addictive... Every time I watch a video with him there's at least one moment I want to use to make a gif

Opening - energetic Yuzu + that 4T 

Chopin 3.0 - I love love this SP, but I always want smth. new from Yuzu cuz he can bring to life any piece of music, I saw Chopin 2.0 live in Barcelona (WR) and after the news thought that it would be tough to make it even better, but well, that's Yuzu so of course he can make it better with that 3A exit, 4T+3T right in the music climax, his spins 

So I think that's kind of programme you'll never get tired of. And most of all I loved the way he skated to it: in this calm and mature way with no rush. I hope he can skate with that kind of attitude and confidence in competition.

Ending: 3A from IB + happy Yuzu - what more can I wish for?  Only if in Kobe he'll skate to live piano music (the one can wish)
