I like Boyang, but I think I like him more as a person than as a skater lol. If Evgenia did her Europeans' Ex, that'd be cool... I'd also like to see Virtue and Moir again (though their EX isn't half as fun as their FS; are they going to Worlds, actually?) and Sui and Han and some others... but... well, we'll see lol

Hi! I am not sure that it's right time to unlurk but I've been following this site since its creation. I am really glad that this place exists   I have been accepted as volunteer to Milano 2018 (though they sent the confirmation just a week ago). If someone has an idea what accomodation assistant is, please, explain me I have an awful feeling that I will be stuck in the hotel without any possibility to attend competition

Virtue/Moir confirmed they're not going to worlds, but they haven't confirmed PC was their last competition...

I'm not sure about the swans... being voluntary, it would be cute if I could distribute swans to the all-event Japanese (and other nationalities) buyers whom I could ask if they're fan of Yuzu. Yeah! It's a good idea! I could do that! Although, I'm in no position to say 'yes, please give all your swans to me'. How would the exchange happen? @SparkleSalad 

 

Lastly, having read about his precarious condition... I have to hope he won't come to Worlds. I don't want him to skate in painkillers. I want him to take it slowly. Maybe it's best if his season shall finish now. And maybe, who knows? He will get some months of rest, then begin training again... we might see a shiny new Yuzu for the Summer shows, sharing his new programs for next season, being as happy and cheerful as ever  

This is awesome  Thanks Muriel, I'm sure the event will run smoothly and amazingly with you as a volunteer, and I hope you learn a lot and meet lots of Yuzu fans

I will be in Milan the whole week, even if Yuzu will not come.
I'm so sad for this, I could not wait to see Chopin and Seimei with my own eyes, those are 2 of my favorite programs, but I guess my bad luck is always next to me 
My heart still hopes that he will get back in shape before Worlds but I know this is unlikely and I really want him to put his health first!
Anyway I have others to cheer for!
I hope to see some of you there even without Yuzu. I need another fanyu to talk to, my friends are fed up with me

This trip is also a vacation for me, so I'll be there! I'll be sad if I can't see Yuzu skate, but I really want him to rest, both physically and mentally. I don't mind watching a stress-free competition where I can root for Boyang! =)

 

 

I’m almost 100% sure now he won’t attend. He seems to be laying out all the info about his ankle so he won’t be so pressured by JSF as he said it’s more or less up to them to make an announcement about his attendance. Tbh, even if he does show, I’m not sure I could enjoy watching him further hurt himself.

That’s the thing, if he shows up - even if he says he’s all good - I would think the whole time he’s just aggravating his ankle and be worried instead of enjoying any performance 

I could never be sure about anything when it comes to Yuzuru  . I think (and hope) he won't go to WC, and the fact he repeat multiple times that his ankle is in bad shape is an early preparation for WD, just like Nats. But he also attend to 3 practice for an ex, jump quad and 3A because he want to keep the feeling of skating. I think he will decide when he get a check up and how he feel when he reduce the painkiller. I think there's still 10% that he could try for WC ( and personally i dont encourage it ). 

I will be in France in March and will be in Italy during WC too. I think I will try to have a ticket for ladies's FS
