November 5, 20223 yr Awww Yuzu.... Words can't express my feelings .... I'm so moved.... you are MARVELLOUS ありがとうございました!!!!
November 5, 20223 yr I agree he needs at least one day to rest on between shows. Maybe it’s not cost effective, hence the decision to pull through like that. He’ll take all of this into consideration for his next show, I bet.

I need to re-watch the program 100 times to sort out my thoughts and emotions. Very nervous throughout the show to actually enjoy it thoroughly and observe all of the details :-( Pardon my fragile nerves ...

November 5, 20223 yr I just realized what he was doing with the 6 minute warm up and Seimei right at the start , complete with Pooh-san and the announcer calling him onto the ice etc- he's recreating the whole PyeongChang experience for the audience so that everyone who couldn't go in 2018 gets to see it and feel it. Wow. 羽生結弦さん よくできました. お疲れ様でした!

I haven't read all the posts in this thread yet! Trying to grab super early dinner now at Takashimaya Shinjuku first & continue my chat in this thread later. Wait for me! Hahahaah

But I also agree that a resting day in between would be better. He did say that there was an issue with finding available venues because of the time constraints. So, I hope his future shows will be planned more ahead of time and with proper resting time in between.
November 5, 20223 yr Yay caught up with this thread, that was amazing!! Like others I did think Yuzuru looked to be conserving energy and the rink size also plays a part in slowing him down - at the end I saw yesterday's SEIMEI etc and his energy level was definitely higher - he had less than 24 hours to recover though so I was totally expecting him to be tired today, still he is a marvel! So emotional too bless him we are used to his tears and our own though!! I loved the lighting, the camerawork wasn't the best but I didn't care too much because this is Yuzuru's first ice show and it was just incredible imo. Did I see starry night in the "mapping" during AFD?? ahhhhh and that costume is an absolute dream I hope we see it again! Thanks for the backup links folks, before the show started, I didn't need them my Japan TV worked fine (mostly...) Love Yuzuru so much and the effort he makes for us, arigato gozaimashita Yuzuuuu!
November 5, 20223 yr Hoping that the success of Prologue and the overwhelming positive feelings and feedback from fans, will confirm to Yuzu that he is Master of his own Destiny. Perhaps he can feel free and comfortable to make decisions which are best for himself and feel confident that fan support will stay with him. Professional era Yuzu is incredible. That galaxy brain has probably already begun to conceptualise 'Chapter 1'
November 5, 20223 yr This show was so well-crafted. I wondered how he was going to do a show all by himself, but everything was nicely paced and kept our attention even when he was changing and taking a breather. The voting with the led bracelets was such a fun way to interact with the audience. What a cool souvenir too! I want one. I need to find translations/subtitles to see what he was saying to make everyone laugh. The projections were amazing and made the entire sheet of ice look like artwork he was skating on. I think the camera was too far back at times so it made it difficult to see his movements. Also simplifying some of the images may help to make him stand out more and not get lost among the images. His cool down choreo really matches the Final Fantasy music and that was such a clever idea to incorporate those elegant movements into the program. And doing the 6 minute warmup in the beginning really adds some tension and anticipation to the show. His brain is something else! He was teary at the end, and I hope he really felt all the love and support we're always trying to give him. I'm so happy these 2 shows are so successful! I hope this gives him confidence for his path as a Pro. Now I hope he gets some well-deserved rest, and I'm already excited for Hachinohe!
