That said, department stores such as Mitsukoshi offer 5% discount on all merchandises to foreign customers which, when combined with the tax refund, can come up to quite a bit of savings. So I'll probably still go to the department store. Sapporo last month, I bought Mitsukoshi's last jar of Sekkisei Miyabi eye cream on stock. Look forward to stocking up in Tokyo this time :-)

Wonder if there will be a Sekkisei pop up store at TD. It'll save me a trip to the department store :-)

I see where you come from but can't be convinced at all. I'm happy to just leave it like that though -- acknowledge and respect the fact that we are bound to have some different views based on our likely very different cultural backgrounds, life experiences and professional trainings -- and try not to be over-didactic to one another -- notwithstanding our good intentions :-) Like the other satellites have wisely suggested, let's focus our energy on the more cheerful and monumental GIFT and be united in our support for Yuzu's yet another history-making endeavor. It is already nerve racking just to think of it ...

Agreed we should all take a step back and just enjoy what we have at the moment. Enough has been said and speculated about insignificant SOI while GIFT is looming large and I'm literally packing for it!

Not at all second guessing his decision — the concern, again, is that may not be his decision or a decision made out of no option. Just to make myself clear. I personally still believe fans were not organized AND vocal enough in the past to amount to any meaningful impact.

I may be too cynical — there are many dark and evil forces in this world working behind the scene and I don’t want Yuzu to be harmed. Again, I sincerely hope you are right and I am wrong. I know he is insanely mature, savvy and perceptive. Who knows? Maybe this could be a gateway to a soon to come world tour. I will for sure support him no matter what in my own way — such as watching only his SOI parts and not the others and not live. I personally find certain other names in the cast extremely annoying and wish Yuzu never has to mingle with them. This news is just very hard to swallow. I wish it didn’t happen right before my departure for GIFT. May GIFT lift my heart and spirit 🙏

I also want badly to protect him from the evil forces in the world. We failed in the past and I'm feeling clueless and powerless now ....

I like your positive line of thinking and wish from the bottom of my heart that's all what's actually happening. I am a worst case scenario type of person and I care about Yuzu too much not to feel worried when inexplicable things like this happen.
