More from this clips:

Interviewer: how does it feel hugging Yuzuru Hanyu

Xinyu: heavier than I thought, he has very high quality muscles.

Interviewer: you hug him to test his muscles?

Xinyu (smile): Not like that. We share the same changing room during GALA and I've seen it. He indeed has a lot of muscles.

That "not good" comment on his ankle which "needs more time" made me a little worried. But his happy face also tells me that he needs these practices for himself too.

I think being on the ice and skating to whatever he wants is therapeutic for him. I'm worried about his ankle, too. But I hope his injury is not too bad and he recovers quickly. Besides, he knows best what strain he can put on his ankle, so I trust that he knows what he's doing, now that all that stress and pressure has fallen off. It's so good to see him so happy and joyful again. :heartpound:

Nobody moves across the ice like him. Too bad we don't have any high quality videos, but this was already enough to make me tear up again. H&L holds a very special place in my heart. For me, this program really symbolizes hope. It's like a light in the darkness. :tumblr_inline_n18qr5lPWB1qid2nw:

Holy shit! How is this possible? This looks like he's hanging on wires for a martial arts fighting scene.

I'm so grateful for all the wonderful skating Yuzu has been giving us. I really hope there is high-quality footage shot by professionals. All these practices show that Yuzu is a true artist who has mastery of his craft of figure skating like no other. He's like a musician who can play multiple pieces of music at whim or a singer who sings multiple songs for a concert and can pull of any song from their playlist by request. Yuzu is an absolute genius, there's no doubt about it.

Thanks Xinyu for this very important information!  :heartpound:

I love that he had the rink to himself today (how?? I suppose just coz he is Hanyu Yuzuru!)  and could use whatever music he wanted, and I especially loved his loyal (little) audience - thank you everyone at the rink for cheering Yuzuru on!! And the photographers for lovely photos! Hope we get good video footage of all his amazing god tier skating too!!!

Surely someone  must be filming this stuff - Japanese media, Chinese media, Olympic broadcasting people who are well aware of who’s getting noticed here and it isn’t the ones ISU would prefer.  I think we’ve a better chance of getting the footage from the last two - Japanese media have loads they never show.

I'm thinking that Chinese media is recording his practices.  But no idea.  I guess the way to check would be to VPN your computer to China and write his name, in Chinese, into the YouTube search engine (says she who hasn't tried this or even knows if YouTube is available in China).

For comparison's sake :)
