And I don't wanna bring more negativity, but I really dislike people who give freedom of speech as an excuse to be rude/act against the rules. Freedom of speech is something we should value, since it's not guaranteed we'll always have it, not use it as an excuse for bad behavior.

Well, they can use it, but they don't really understand what it means. Freedom of speech means the government cannot persecute you for any speech you make, to a certain degree, of course. As to how your fellow members of society respond to your speech, we have our freedom in that as well. If your speech is rubbish, we can state so and show you the door as well. That's how I understand it.

One of my coworkers just said figure skating, gymnastics, and diving aren't sports. It's only Monday and I already want the week to end

You can invite him to skating, make sure you take him to one of those sessions that has little girls jumping axels. Most people I've met who downplay skating, tend to have trouble with stamina within 20 mins. =)

Oh, the worst part is he's been trying to skate for weeks and all he's managed to do is walk on the ice. But there's no reasoning with some people

WE JUST HAD A SURPRISE DRILL

IT TOOK US THREE MINUTES TO EVACUATE BECAUSE OF BOTTLENECKS ON THE STAIRWELLS (there are four stairwells)

I am so mad and nervous and i confirmed that my best chance at survival is staying inside the building, since i work in the top floor i'd fall on top of everyone else...
