Shun, I know you were doing very well recently and psyched yourself up for senior debut, but you're NOT Yuzuru. It's only the beginning of your career and bombing here will not help you.

And Rikulya isn't saint either considering she went to ice shows injured.

Can i ask if the hua hua and/or vk stream was good and working yesterday? I'm not sure if i should try to get a vpn to work or chance it for the ladies (i missed the men's short sigh)

For me hua hua was unwatchable for pairs and great for mens. I am not sure if vk stream was available for pairs. I tried to find it on the site but failed. I myself refuse to pay vpn for a comp without Yuzu so I try to make it work otherwise.

So Nathan is going for 6 quads.I watched the runthru apparently its more worse than 5 quads layouts in terms of transitions just one crossover to another and jumps.then choreo will magically appears during the chsq.what baffled me is this no one  criticised this but somehow applaud him some more ..what a double standard when Trusova did 5 quads with little choreo in between the jumps so many people criticised her for doing a jumpfest not skating and what annoyed me somemore is judges will shower this with generous pcs

 

So I just watched the parts of the Gala that I was interested in: Adam, Kaori, Satoko, Beaudry/Sorenson, and Nam.

 

All really great programs, but I have to give a tip of the hat to Nam: well done choreographing that program the same day, and it was a very Nam program - lots of fun for the audience,  lots of fun for him. 

 

Only one question: was he up at ridiculous hours Saturday night/Sunday morning watching their (BTS's) online concert (Permission to Dance: On Stage), like I was? Because that makes the skate even more impressive...💜

 

Off to watch Shoma and Riku/ Ryuichi, and that'll be it for the Gala for me!

 

PS...and uncle Brezina. I'm loving his Bryan Adams theme this year, even if it is just what he always does. He does it well

 

...oh, and Young You's BTS medley, and Olivia and Adam's Flashdance. Those are the type of program Galas are all about.
