However, unlike the skaters who are bound by contracts, the audience have the choice and they chose to ignore safety and congregate in one place knowing the risks. People should know better by now not to do that, it is common sense. It is just an ice show, there will be others. I am saying this as someone who would do anything to see Yuzu live just once, but even I won't risk it in this situation because the danger is not just for me but for a lot of other people as well. These are not children who can't decide for themselves neither are they mind controlled puppets, they should have stayed away and let the organisers know that these kind of evens are not appropriate at this time. But, they did not. So I hold them responsible for any consequences just like the organisers.

I feel even more concerned because I just read this: Correct me if I'm wrong, but Japan just detected 5 new cases that got the new strain from India. It's a double mutant strain that has the UK strain of infectivity and the South Africa strain of resistance to vaccine I totally agree with you that any decision to attend and crowd together at the ice show is the audience's responsibility. And how irreponsible many of them are, putting the skaters and those careful ones at risk. However, the idiots that are the SOI organizers are to blamed as well.
