kiches
I'd definitely say PC was worst since there was a lot on the line, but there are definitely similarities in that we have no idea what condition he's in. I was lucky to watch live in Pyeongchang but the whole time leading up to my trip I wasn't even sure if he'd show up (and debating whether I should cancel because I'd just be bummed if he didn't and I was there) and I had similar thoughts leading all the way up to these nationals. I guess once he makes his appearance things may shift but who knows. Link to comment

Paskud
Tomorrow here Fuji TV should post whole list of skaters' programs. But I have no idea around what time they will do it and if official practice will be earlier anyway. https://www.fujitv.co.jp/sports/skate/figure/toJPN.html This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS]. Do you mean we learn it as early as that? Well, I am disappointed, I was getting ready to find out only once he’s on the ice to perform. Link to comment

Btw, it's not like I'm 200% sure they will post such list. Just that they did it before every competition they covered this season, so this time it should be the same, right? Link to comment

I was meeting up with a friend that day, so I turned in closer to Yuzu performance and skipped the warm-up (maybe for the better), didn;t understood what was happening straight away. Later seeing him struggling at NHK was painful too, thankfully he made big return at GPF. Time after Boston was the most painful one though. Time before PC the most stressful. So now even if I will be nervous before his performance it will be kinda exciting nerves, not stressful ones. Link to comment

It's a funny story: Helsinki 2017: I was extremely nervous, especially after Yuzu's fifth place in the short. It was the first time that mom has watched him live, too. She confidently said that Yuzu would still win the whole thing. It was hard for me to believe her, but well... she was right, so I started to take her predictions more seriously from now on. PyeongChang 2018: Mom said that Nathan will mess up and Yuzu will win, so I was relatively chilled from the beginning. She didn't watch Saitama and Torino live. Maybe she should have... but taking care of my grandparents had top priority at that time. I can't blame her for that. JNats 2020: She said that Yuzu will be great, so I'm chilled again. We all know that mums are always right :-)... I am looking forward to see Yuzu on the ice again. And I think he himselves has to miss the competing very much. However, it doesn´t matter which result he achieves, what is the most important is to stay healthy... Link to comment
