There's only 1 camera on Day 3 since they already recorded the broadcast version the day before. For TV camera, sometime its more limited than normal cam because they need specific angel/place, they can't put it wherever they want.  At least Asahi TV still kind enough to release it

This.

While Fuji TV blocks WR videos of the best skater of their country at WC, Asahi TV releases his clean skate at ice show.

I think we all agree Fuji TV is the biggest troll of all, especially after that morning tv show

Tbh my expectations for camera work were lower and lower as the season went  . COC, 4CC and WC camera teams are bad , The best of this season goes to NHK   Maybe they have a team for recording ice show and other teams for competitions.

Ehmm I was about to reply Hydro that since Yuzu made his acting debut already and in 10 years he could you know improve his acting, he may act in the movie himself.

I've seen his scene many times in The Magnificent Nine, he's actually not that bad at acting I must say! It was kind of annoying how he kept taking a breath right before speaking (honestly, the director should have noticed and told him, LOL, Yuzuru couldn't know it would create kind of a 'repetition' mistake), but he kept a nice rhythm with his lines, he is (obviously) cameragenic (can you say this? instead of photogenic? I hope so LOL), and I loved how he used his voice and body! He would be such a good actor if he put his mind on it. Luckily, his mind is already full with skating, but just knowing that this boy is good at everything he does is amazing.

so according to this, it looks like the Sendai monument is a real life size of Yuzu? Can someone who lives in Sendai do us a favor by solving the mystery of his height then?? :sign0009::snonegai::xD:

I don't know if the Sendai monument is a real life size of him, I'm not sure.

But someone who met him in Helsinki told me that he is 1,75 m tall.

That moment when you are the same height as Shoma Uno so you know exactly at what angle you would have to look up to see him... :sadPooh:

Is there a version of just his cuts? Hehehe

Just one scene! <3

(Notice how he breathes before talking, and by doing so he raises his shoulders for FOUR times in a row  But aside from that, he was perfect!!!)

I'm sorry but I always lose my shit watching this :rofl::rofl:

Did anyone save the cam version of Day 3? The Asahi version cuts off his lower body after the 3A so we miss the edgework and twizzle :banginghead:

I got to see The Magnificent Nine in a film festival and I really impressed by his voice. He has a very nice tone and the way he talk was quite natural with good rhythm. Yeah I noticed he took a breath before speaking too, but he don't have any movie acting skills/experience so its acceptable . Actually some radio/TV broadcaster I know have that habit when they first started their work, its a way they keep calm and adjust their tone. Overall, Yuzuru had a good acting debut

Absolutely! I would definitely give him a call-back for any role he wants!

Now I'm left wondering... who was the first who actually came up with the idea to cast Yuzuru Hanyu as the Lord of Sendai:rofl: Please give them a life-size monument as well! That person was a genius!

Omg me too!! Same height as Shoma! And you!! I always thought he looked shorter than me. :bash:

Just caught up with the thread (the clean Chopin in HD!!! now the emotions are in HD ) and I don't know how many times this has been said already but I also LOVE the spread eagle during the step sequence. I'd noticed it in the fancam before but seeing it now in HD really brings out how impactful it is! Honestly, I'm still not a fan of the timing of the first spin? I just miss the choreography he used to do after the first jump; I still think steps better suit the music there, but he might just be trying things out? Maybe he doesn't want too similar of a program to 2015-16... but the spin itself is beautiful with the arm flourishes :smiley-love017: He's always so attuned to the music, it's incredible. I can't wait to see how this further develops through the season!!
