What is this software? I still haven't tried it on my phone. Someone should finetune it for Asian features lol. Has anyone tried it on Boyang?

Yeah, I think Asian features just trip this software up, especially in terms of gender.

So, what's this about? What new information do these new magazines have, I wonder.

According to yude at GS, and reports from those who've read it, in this magazine Orser mentions Yuzu has been jumping all kinds of quads (4F too?). No word on actually landing them, though.

It's kinda funny that he's trolling everyone while his coaches (past and present) are kinda spilling the tea.

 I kind of just assumed, tbh (though who knows if 4F is included.) Plushenko said in front of him at that ice show table talky time that some guy would come along who could jump all 5 quads (then Yuzu would jump quad axel.) How could he let that slide? His notice-me-sempai game is strong.

Took me a while to find it again but basing on this old article from Pirouette (September/October 2016 edition) [translated by @Pamigena at GS] he jumped all different quads (except for toeloop and axel - this was during the time he was forbidden to practice the toeloop). So that would include the flip (I honestly wouldn't be surprised since he has such great control on his 3F now).

I could watch Yuzuru Hanyu and can confirm what Lutricia Bock and Lea Johanne Dastich said during Skate Detroit (see page 14). He tried a lot of quads (except axel and toe loop), he landed a lot of them, but he sometimes also landed on his butt. I hadn't planned an interview [with him] because that would only have been possible with prior approval by the Japanese federation, but he was happy about the cover picture of the last issue of Pirouette magazine.

Orser also told me about him: He had been in Canada the whole time and had cancelled shows in Japan. In April and May he had to take a break due to an injury of the left midfoot, which had burdened him since last autumn, especially when doing 4T. For the first time he hadn't been treated by doctors in Japan but in Toronto, and at the beginning of August he was still doing therapy with a Toronto-based Japanese specialist. The pain when doing 4T is the main reason why he trains the other quads so intensively but still doesn't want to do the 4T. However, 4Lo and 4S work about 70% of the time and he will probably show them in the free skate. Orser was informed by the Japanese federation that Pirouette is only allowed to publish his new music [they use the plural of the word, so they mean both SP and FS] after a press conference on September 13th, which is unfortunately shortly after this issue will be published. The small Autumn Classic event at the end of September in Pierrefonds, Montreal, is supposed to be his first competition. There are only about 600 seats for spectators, so, like last year in Barrie, we can expect things to get cramped.

Oh yay yeah thanks! So it was NHK Special EX not ice show. I feel so lucky to have all these savant fans who can pull these things out in a split second.

ETA: So he actually said Yuzu would be the one to jump all quads. Well of course he as to do it, right? And be the first one to do it.

Yeah, I assume he's been trying the 4F and 4A, no biggie, he's not going to put any of them in a program this season anyway, but what else is new in these magazines that would prompt that tweet from Iron Klaus, I wonder.

Not that Iron Klaus doesn't stirr shit up sometimes with their cryptic references.

Well, if we want to take Plushy's words to Yuzu literally, Plushy said Yuzu would go to the 2018 Olympics with 4 different quads... and he didn't mean the number, he meant the type.

So, if Yuzuru really cares about keeping up with Plushy's expectations of him... 4Lz is coming guys
