    My strategy of not jinxing anything I want to happen is: "Whatever will happen, I will be happy either way; it will be an occasion of growth, everything is going to be okay, it's even better if things go unexpected, etc. etc." But still, this talk didn't stop me from being extra-depressed after Yuzu's SP in Helsinki this year. Luckily, Yuzu managed to transform all the fear into something pure and beautiful.

I knew there was A LOT of work behind Seimei because as soos as I listened to the OST of the first and second movie, I understood there were more than 5 or 6 musical pieces mixed. They weren't left as they were, they were re-arranged, just the same work that a composer does. So of course, Yuzu didn't do the work himself, but him and Shae-Lynn had the talent and mind to imagine the piece of music already re-arranged. That requires extreme sensitivity to music, extreme intelligence. I am so amazed. I had no ideas there were 32 versions of Seimei, but it sounds pretty realistic. Aaaaah damn now I really want a Seimei 2.0.

    That's ACI right? He really is much more relaxed there than during other competitions... there is a different feel of competition in ACI. So cute!

    It's the Olympic season. 2016/2017 Season finished 11 hours ago in my time zone. And still, every time I listen to LGC, I hear "Do you people love it" Instead of "Dearly Beloved".

    I have relatives in Canada that I've never spoken to in my entire life (I think they live in Ontario tho or somewhere near) Seriously though, I think that my only way to survive this off-season is to make a Yuzu fan-made vid I've actually been planning for a while. Only issue is, I am not like those wonderful Japanese fans who manage to find all the coolest 1080p HD videos of him so the gathering of the clips is gonna be a real job for the brave.

    I completely agree, and don't think it's wishful thinking at all! Something I've thought about too is: Yuzuru's skating comrade in Toronto is Javier. Javi's been at his prime, we could say, in the last three years or so? And he's 26. And he will seriously compete for gold next year, at 27. So, really, Yuzuru has an example right before his eyes of how you can be at the top of your game even if all the newspapers in the world call you an 'old' skater because they want fresh blood.
