Aaah, maybe then I definitely missed those tweets. I can believe he landed the 4Lutz. Correct edge, tho, that's something else... hard to see without slow-mo rewind, even for some FS experts!

He didn't land any 4Lz at Faoi yet, I'm quite positive...

Do I sound like an asshole if I say "I hope he risks it so his jumps' mistakes will be so obvious, they will have to call him out"? I mean, I hope the best for everyone. But. The best for Shoma, in my opinion, is if someone made him correct his technique. Plus, isn't this similar to the 4Salchow, when he took it out of the layout because he admitted he didn't feel sure about it?

POLL: Yuzu's 2017-18 FS music predictions
Murieleirum replied to sublimeskating's topic in Yuzuru Hanyu
I voted Seimei 2.0. I am glad POTO 2.0 has no votes. During Makuhari streaming, someone joked by announcing POTO 2.0 was the new FS and I almost had a heart attack. SO not ready for that. BUT! I hope it's going to be brand new music. My guts tell me Seimei 2.0, but my guts are often wrong. -
I might second you on this! (Ode to Joy remixed... it shocked me the first time I heard it! Plus, Yuzu was lip synching... I wonder if he was lip synching the real german lyrics!) Do not tempt me to record a full version of this....... (it's too beautiful)

But I eat so much of it every day...

Well, the article was talking about the spice paprika, and not bell peppers (who are called paprika but idk why hahaha) but I found it funny and accurate anyways xD
-
Ah, last night I made the most wonderful discovery so you will forgive me for double posting. Apparently, paprika contains a poisonous ingredient for Cats. So cats not only don't like it, but they need to stay away from it. It won't kill them in small quantities, but it's best to be avoided. Find any similarities with our space kitty's hatred for paprika?

It's Ravel's Bolero, kinda remixed. You know what the weird part is? Japanese people use it all the time, I swear, in every tv show, in every occasion, even in movies. I don't know what their obsession with this piece is all about, maybe it's because it's very hypnotizing and it has conquered the nation's heart. But it's true that it's a wonderful piece which builds tension endlessly.

Only because he's no one's favourite. I think his skating needs improving as much as Nathan's, but somehow people can imagine Nathan winning hypotetical gold.

Tbh everybody is kinda forgetting Boyang again...

Agreed. And if cleanliness goes up Evgenia like? Judges WILL reward it, I am sure of it. Historically, the best skate will win. The best skate can be either the cleanest, or the one with less errors and more tech. We've seen gold medals in both cases. Yuzu has won a gold thanks to "less errors and more tech". Now, I believe he would like to win another gold thanks to the cleanest skate he can be proud of, that can represent his skating to the whole world. For me, he can do that with 4 quads as much as with 5 quads.
-
That's every skater's worry, of course. Every skater builds their BV and program with the objective of getting the highest score. So far, the difference between Yuzu's and the youngster's Base Values has been filled by Yuzu's higher GOE's - in minor part, by Yuzu's higher PCS. If Yuzu sees that the difference between his BV and theirs will be too big for him to fill the usual way, then he will surely up his tech content. Honestly tho, it will be fun if Nathan (or other skaters) really attempt a 6-7 quads program... at the Olympics. I wish him the best, but it could be the most gruesome Olympic splatfest to date.
-
Except 4 quads isn't playing it safe, or is it? a 4 quads FS is currently the world record, and it was even underscored. I don't know, this talk makes me a little gloomy... as if Yuzu would feel like he can't keep up with the sport and continue to push it forward if there are people who do more quads than him, when in reality these people do less than half of his skating when they're not jumping. Going clean is better for the health, is better for the mind, is better for the performance, which are three things Yuzuru cares a lot about. If he can go clean both SP and FS with 4 quads in the long, and break the +340 barrier, I'm fine with that. But since pushing the sport forward also means a lot to Yuzu, he will probably try to do 5 quads in the long and still pursue the same kind of consistency. And if we are lucky enough, we're gonna see exactly that.
-
With this kind of future, it seems hard for Yuzu not to bring 5 quads in. Although I'd rather he kept 4 and added 4Lz.

Dlin Dlon! Mi sono appena accorta che su Milano2018 è uscito il modulo da compilare per fare i volontari. E niente, io compilo e incrocio le dita

I don't think any of those 32 versions would be a good idea, because they would sound "almost the same, except something is missing". Which would be absolutely the worst! If they want to do Seimei 2.0, like you said, they will have to do it completely from scratch - and probably do the same hard work of putting together different pieces and basically inventing a new musical piece themselves. Btw I'm all for it. Onmyouji's OST of both movies is just one of the best OST I've heard since Lord of the Rings, LOL. It won't be easy though. They took most of the best pieces for Seimei 1.0 already xD

LWOFYPP - Let's watch our favourite Yuzu programs party
Murieleirum replied to robin's topic in Yuzuru Hanyu
I don't know why but I only watched that program last week for the first time. That was amazing, that fall was spectacular! May I suggest either GPF 2016 Let's go Crazy or Worlds 2017 LGC? Yes, the knee-down is painful, but everything else of that performance was mind-blowing! -
thank you so much oh my God I love these you can make stories out of these
