  1. You mean, except Evgenia who made the ultimate World records there, right? I actually don't think LGC should be considered dead... I think it will make a comeback sooner than we expect...
  2. LOL. So Brown probably will never be able to land a quad, since his coach is so negative and 'omg impossible' about integrating quads into programs. And OMG that interview with Nathan and Shoma. I died at this part:
  3. I've watched Skate Canada's Seimei 2015 for the first time Canada sure has never been easy on Yuzu, PCS wise. He got an 88 Program Components Score for a not completely clean, 3 quads free program, already filled with transitions and depth of interpretation - same PCS of Nathan Chen's Free at US International this year
  4. To get ready, I am rewatching Skate Canada 2015 and lowering my expectations, so that if Yuzu will do great, I will be greatly surprised
  5. Oooh I approve! And yes, yes, I was thinking about EXes programs... since Notte Stellata, I've been thinking about Yuzuru experimenting with them. Also, with the change of rules, the time for both SP and LP will change, right? That will be a new music cutting challenge. Honestly though, without LGC this year, I will really miss rockstar Yuzuru... so actually I'm not sure if I want a slow sentimental EX as much as a rock/jazz/pop one. xD
  6. -18 days. Less than 3 weeks
  7. Omg thanks for the wonderful listen! ;u; I've listened to several versions of Summertime, and thought about what would suit Yuzuru best. I like Annie Lennox's recent version. It's slow, deep, enriched with instrumental crescendo and her wonderful, mature voice. I'd love to see Yuzuru skate to something that would require him to slow everything down - sort of like a Chopin 4.0, if you will. Chopin and Hope and Legacy have really brought out Yuzuru's qualities, so I wonder if he could improve even more from that point of view.
  8. Speaking about Jazz and Classic... Do I have an obsession with Stravinsky? ...only slightly.
  9. Lol the necessary nudge at the rivalry at the end... Japanese media never changes. I love how Yuzu's and Shoma's different approaches to skating are summarised in their short interaction at the end LOL: Yuzuru: "I won't lose" Shoma: "I'll work hard"
  10. Thanks for introducing his blog - I have found something to do to avoid going to sleep tonight
  11. I guess food is not such a bother when you're hungry and you're served a nice warm hamburger, even for our evil overlord xD
  12. I agree, to be a #2 bombing, you have to fall on a spin, not just on jumps xDDD
  13. I have met only 1 or 2 people in my life that seem to have the same relationship with food that Yuzuru has. He doesn't seem so much a picky eater as much as completely disinterested in the food world xD which doesn't mean that he's not able to appreciate delicious food, but it's not like he thinks about it when he doesn't directly have a plate of food in front of him.
  14. Yeah, like @fireovertheice said, I think Max read that without a doubt. He often quotes and links program analysis and interesting posts on tumblr, so whether he searches for them or other fans link them to him, he reads everything there is to read
  15. In 20 days we'll know I guess... I also suppose that if Yuzuru is still limiting his 4Loop to once per day, to avoid feeling kuyashii all day for messing up his ONLY 4Loop of the day, he's nailing all of them and raising his accuracy percentage?
  16. If he wins over Yuzuru, the pressure will double, I am sure. After all, he hasn't beat him in any competition yet, but he will be the defending National Champion, which is a weird set of emotions. Also, Yuzuru will feel tremendous kuyashii if he loses, and will fire up for Olympics. Mmh... I don't wish any of them to go into any competition with stress, so anyway it will go how it will go.
  17. There are some ISU Italian officials that know him well, I'm sure of it. Some of them comment figure skating on RAI. The question is: will their conscience hold fort and refuse to be touched by Max, or will they take a step back and help him help them? He never speaks about his informants, but he's very careful to say when something is a rumor or it's a fact. So I bet he already saw that beautifully landed 4Lz that we all are craving like air This reminds me of the battle between Patrick and Yuzuru. Yuzuru had higher tech than Patrick, but he didn't reach his PCS right away. Not at all, actually. He stayed behind those even in the Olympics. In the Olympic year, Yuzuru was twice below the 8 and almost always below the 9, if I remember correctly. And his Skating Skills, Transitions and Artistic Components weren't worse than some of the rewarded athletes now. Actually, some items were already better. So, Max is damn right when he says that things changed when judges lost orientation and started rewarding certain skaters with inflated PCS that didn't correspond reality, and then couldn't go back anymore. And now it's like... they can't and don't want to admit they were wrong?
  18. The lady getting up and leaving behind him
  19. I didn't hear anything after that actually, my hearing was literally BURNED like the last ISU officials who managed to get to the end of the podcast without spontaneously melting away in shame and kuyashii. No, really, that's my favourite part in all the episode. He's too cool. And so damn right.
  20. It has to be a magic moment though, for the judges to 'surrender themselves to the perfection of the sunset', so to speak! Because some judges are less sensitive to masterpieces than one would think, so I get why some people here are doubtful of the chances of such a perfect moment to actually happen. I do believe it is all in Yuzuru's hands though. If he does what he wants to do, he will create exactly that moment, maybe more than just one, and his sunset won't be denied. I do believe, like you, that Yuzuru is the only one capable to deserve a perfect 100 right now. He's simply and objectively the only athlete who is at the top on every element.
  21. It's a SCANDAL (quote) Max just tells it like it is while everyone else in ISU has their tails between their legs. And since most of the highest rank ISU officials are Italian currently... they better be listenin'.
  22. I applaud myself and my gut feeling then (speaking of gut feeling, I should really do some pancakes since I still have chocolate spread at home... can't waste good chocolate spread...)
  23. So my Rating for ACI: SP: 1 FS: 7
  24. I swear, we all look as scary/crazy as him when we lipsync the songs we're listening to in earphones with a certain energy... at least, I am 100% certain I am as scary as him, and I do that on public buses sometimes. LOL Yolo. IT'S SO CUTE THO. All u need is u. Trrry somesin NIU.
