Ita ESP was so disappointed at that sudden fall on the 3Toeloop! They know how much it can take away in terms of score, and such a fall for Yuzuru is just such a silly mistake. But I guess, better to have happened now, than anywhere and anywhen later in the year. Also, I don't know why, I'm always less nervous watching Chopin than watching Seimei. Maybe because, like you said, the technical content for Seimei, especially this year, is unparalleled. Like, I just saw GPF 2015 Seimei and it was like I finally realized how much the new Seimei is different from the past. The technical content is so completely different, it should be no surprise to anyone that he didn't go clean for his first two competitions of the season.

That's actually what I love the most about Chopin. Yuzu created his own image inside the music, so well and so vividly that it became his own... He may not have made research about Chopin's life, but it's like he knows without knowing. For him, those crazy scales, those fast-paced turbins of notes during the step sequence, have meaning. And giving meaning to every note is a musician's most important job, so if a skater manages to do it... off the hat goes. Outstanding.

OMG sorry to burst in the thread, but I think this needs to be seen by everyone: our so very dear ElenaC has made a video with ALL of the times Max Ambesi (&others italian uncles) said "Welcome on planet Hanyu, population, one: him" and I think this is amazing

When I started watching Yuzuru, I was amazed at how, instants before every jump, his head turns slightly towards the opposite direction of rotation. I thought it was something that every skater did, tied to the physics of the jump, but... apparently, it's just Yuzu's thing?? Since Nathan doesn't do it at all. I only know I LOVE it. HOLY. SPARKLES.

exACTLY. Also, I expect NHK to be even better than COR, regarding the FS. I am sure if he will nail the 4Lz, he will want to nail everything else. If he won't nail the 4Lz, he will WANT to nail everything else. So.

Probably signing the papers around December... I still don't think they will all get along perfectly before then xD

"Training 4Lz helped stabilize 4Loop" "Training 4Lz helped stabilize 4Loop" "Training 4Lz helped stabilize 4Loop"

This really puts into perspective how LITTLE time of training do these guys have before GPF... will baby Lutz have grown into pre-pubescent phase yet??

ALREADY-??

And what does 'double the amount' amount to, in PCS score? Little to nothing.

I completely agree. With Classical music, it's harder than one imagines to create good coreography. Because the music goes off on his own, so if your body movements and your mood/interpretation doesn't perfectly compliment the music and enrich it, it's gonna feel like it's kinda useless. And 'useless' is what I feel towards Shoma's LP this season. Especially the moment when he stops and goes 'Nessun Dorma' with his arms, lol, it should be a powerful moment but it's pretty meaningless to me (to Shoma) still.

I think season 2014-2015 was enough to make Yuzu and Brian understand that training alone wasn't good for Yuzu...
-
I don't think Yuzu would actually want that either... plus, isn't there more than a month distance between NHK and GPF?
-
Ah, I understand now. I think it would be best for Brian to follow Yuzu through streaming then! ganbatte Yuzu, your coach is doing his best as well!

LOL HOW IS HIS FACE REAL. How many meme faces can he put in the span of 10 seconds???

Wasn't he supposed to be already back home in a few days? Oh, but maybe the flight would be too much of a strain on his body... let's hope his condition will improve as much as possible! I dread Yuzu w/out Brian...

Yes, since Boyang's was a little longer, I think the overall impression is that it's a bigger jump c: It looks the biggest to me as well, so far. I can't wait to see Yuzu's perfect 4Lz in competition

Wow, six month... I can definitely say this place has helped me keep my mood up even in some very groomy grey days. Y'all are an awesome bunch!

Se hai un biglietto in più, ti farò volentieri compagnia, ucciderei qualcuno pur di andare in Giappone

Actually, following the analysis of Yuzu's 4Lz that was posted here a few days ago, his 4Lz is not less high than Boyang c: If I'm not mistaken, both the analised jumps were 69 cm in height. Which is amazing!

OMG Yuzu's pop in time with the music as always

That's become, like, my favourite hobby for a while now. I put Seimei on and visualize him nailing all the jumps. the moment right before the coreo sequence is the best moment ever. So much emotion and tension release. I can't wait for him to send us all to another planet real soon.

I won't listen to them. I won't harm myself in that way Yeah, of course, no content... although @meoima shared just a couple of days ago that video in which very interesting numbers were explained... like the fact that Yuzuru travels more than 50 meters more than the other top 5 on average... or that he lowered the number of crossovers this season, which is the lowest among the top 5... the fact that his turns and steps are in higher number than everyone else among the top 5... We could keep going and remind them all of these things and they would still continue to say what they want to say.

Oh true, lucky Finlandia. Wasn't much of a big win anyways. Kind of like Chopin at ACI this year, so wonderful and perfect, but followed by great f*ck up. Anyways, I'm all about the hardships. I will cheer for him through all of his bombings, if he is left with some more! This is the first season I'm following from start to finish (and it better not be the last one...), so yes, I know about the fact that he peeks later in theory, but I have yet to experience it directly on my nerves.

More than harshly, he's being judged 'strictly' from a score point of view, while others are thrown candies at, so really, I wouldn't want judges to start doing the same with with Yuzu, but just stop doing it with others hahaha! And yes, this did make him stronger because it compelled him to fight. Olympic season back in 2014 wasn't easy for him. He struggled so much, and his win at GPF was his first gold of the season, if I'm not mistaken.
