  1. The message (if DeepL translated correctly) says "From the bottom of my heart I want to say thank Sergey Viktorovich Dudakov for working with me, for kindness and decency. I am sure we will meet again and I will have the opportunity to tell him this in person." This can mean nothing else than telling Plushenko is trying to recruit Dudakov, in my opinion. Replacing Sergei Rozanov shouldn't be that difficult : he was a roller skater and Team Tutberidze taught him everything. Plushenko must know it. While Sergei Dudakov is the real "jump specialist" in the team. Try to imagine.
  2. They are clearly trying to recruit Dudakov. They assume it.
  3. I was a bit sad to hear him say "we were not the greatest friends". I may be getting ideas, but I wonder if he is not resenting a lack of "friendship signs" which he was expecting (being an extrovert), and which are not part of Yuzuru Hanyu's way of communicating. Of course we don't know for sure what Yuzuru Hanyu feels towards him, the depth of this friendship. Maybe, what was so strong to him was the working and competing environment Javier Fernández created and where he felt exceptionally well, emotionally speaking? But I tend to think Yuzuru Hanyu does have deep friendship feelings towards Javier Fernández. I suppose this is none of our business. Yet it touches me. And did he elude or misunderstand the question of what he said when him and Shoma Uno and Yuzuru Hanyu were hugging before the victory ceremony at Pyeong-Chang?
  4. Sallycinnamon posted a working embedded video in Hey! Remember us?
  5. I see your point but am not qualified to have quite a definitive opinion... except about cameras, I think nearly everybody agrees with the need of using them. Nearly. The problems being, those who don't being powerful, and those who would have to do the job being of uncertain qualification as to that sort of technical questions.
  6. Wasn't somebody else leaving for CSKA? I tend to think she's both, less of a choreographer though she does choreograph a little. Yes, she still has a very strong team, I am more worrying for the Zhilina sisters themselves, as I already wrote too many times. And for figure skating in general, about Veronika Zhilina. (While I think figure skating can very well do without Alexandra Trusova until next Olympics if her new training arrangements don't suit her needs.)
  7. 5 I think? The thing being, if she's blocked in the US (and how to reproach it her, as we don't know how she got locked there), she will have to trust Sergei Dudakov and Daniil Gleichengauz to accept them? It is always a conditional acceptance but here, after the confinement, will they be able to see quickly who can become a great skater an who cannot?
  8. It is true that their WR are that close. But these WR are mostly a WR of underscored WR for one, and maybe (I don't know but if the proportion of overscoring remains the same when there is a "judge favourite", then the higher the score, the higher the overscoring) a WR of overscored WR (not of global overscoring, as there was no jump with hands receiving positive GOEs). And none could "pretend" to a q in it, isn't it? Let's keep them as they are, and go on, they will be caught, maybe next year. What I wonder is why ISU accepted this q for underrotation without imposing it for prerotation. Isn't it time to address the problem of underrotation? Wasn't it the moment to get it as a bargain, with RusFed?
  9. If he tries to pretend Alexandra Trusova will listen to him, he won't stir.
  10. Thank you very much! So it is well that, Team Tutberidze may have thought Sergei Rozanov wanted to use their popularity and get visits from people who had searched Tutberidze, and Sergei Rozanov may have had this intention or not. Rather logical, don't you think so? Given that they are at odds, "unless I am mistaken".
  11. Sorry, I am not sure what "tag" means here, but is this just that Rozanov tried to redirect searches on Tutberidze towards his own account, and Team Tutberidze undid it?
  12. Well, as we are just leaving Kaetlyn Osmond after WC 2017, she did have an Indian-themed short program when a Junior.
  13. Sorry, I'll edit. Really, I laughed heartily to that parody. Having once been forced to watch several minutes of soap opera (The Young and the Restless, and I had already watched ten minutes of unidentified soap operas to win a bet against myself), it was so well rendered! And the writing too...
  14. The guides are published. With May 11th as a date but they were not there then. http://sports.gouv.fr/IMG/pdf/sportsguideequipementssportifs.pdf General rules P.7, skating rinks p.23 : no rink reopening before June 2d. As a whole, sports equipments will be allowed only for some school activities, and to professional and high-level sportspeople (high-level sportspeople — sportif de haut niveau — being a status among French athletes, who attain results depending on the sports; for figure skating, I think only Gabriella Papadakis, Guillaume Cizeron and Kevin Aymoz are in its "Elite" section (well, after checking, Kevin Aymoz isn't in there, he's in Senior, he will probably be Elite next year? and Vanessa James and Morgan Cipres are there also), rather few others I think in its "Senior", "Jeunes" and "Reconversion" sections (36 including speed and short track), many of whom train abroad, so even after June 2d, it is unlikely many rinks will open in this scheme, let's hope the epidemic will be low enough to extend the possibilities. Here is the form they must fill : http://sports.gouv.fr/IMG/pdf/protocole_reprise_activite_shn_sportifs_pro.pdf I hope at least they will be able to prepare rinks reopening by off-ice training with specfic devices.
  15. Yuzuru Hanyu's free skating at Worlds 2014 (Eusosport) is already in the Video section, but the short program is there only with French comment. Someone have put the Eurosport version on Youtube : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RGRaAGvFI0 This channel have many videos from this Worlds, in Men, of course the two others medallists but not only them. And, of course, Yuzuru Hanyu's free skating. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FpFUB1a9IYk
  16. It rather reminded me Super-Sentai series such as Choudenshi Bioman, which I confess, in time, I found hard to believe they had ever been produced, with their repetitive gesture, or their "spacial vessels", small plastic toys which injection moulding marks had not even been erased... Here a very good French parody, unfortunately non subtitled :
  17. Is Nathan Chen to have a gap year, full-skating, or is he "just" free for skating because he has finished his academic year and will resume his studies in September? Very interesting interview! If Nathan Chen could have more transitions, performance, interpretation in his programs, and better spins too, it would be so great!
  18. An extremely interesting interview, showing so much understanding, probably relieving some resentment towards Nathan Chen's mother but nicely worded, and there remains the same thing : he agrees with Plushenko's last words, and probably Team Tutberidze thoughts, but this is probably not what was promised to Alexandra Trusova. Alexandra Trusova knows to read. Doesn't she feel already betrayed? How will it be when she resumes ice training, I mean, when she's back to her pre-confinement level?
  19. Not a cherry fruit, but a cherry blossom. Ah.
  20. It may have been when Sendai Rink was closed due to lack of funds (2004-2006)? Though it is said to be in 2007. But maybe the rink really reopened in 2007? He was so relieved when it reopened!
