2019 Russian Ladies World Team Selection
Neenah replied to katonice's topic in Knickknacks: General Skating Chat
Can we leave Yuzu out of this mess, please. He is not a tool to be used for PR or whatever and sharing a coach with Medvedeva has nothing to do with this. The situation is ugly and he shouldn't be dragged into it even if it is just a discussion- 265 replies

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO The FS starts at the exact time as my lecture ... Anyone knows how long does the competition usually take? Can I make it for the last group if I rush back home
-
Sorry but there is no help for this condition, you just learn how to live with it by adjusting your sleep cycle to match competition times and buying extra hard drives to keep all the videos safe from copyright claims. My advice, enjoy the honeymoon period you are experiencing now because what comes next is a lot of waiting for news, anger and frustration at the judges and hours spent studying the rule book, with only short bursts of pure delight when Yuzu makes an appearance or gives us a new performance to obsess over (which is totally worth it) Welcome to the madness

With the new rules only one quad can be repeated so this layout is not allowed. If Yuzu does not include the 4L then he can only have 3 quads in his program.

Team we're fewer but still good!

This is really good news. He has a lot of potential and hopefully he gets all the support he needs to achieve it -
My internet is soooooooooooooooo bad streaming is impossible I guess I am giving up on this

I am really happy that Boyang is feeling better and is back to his antics on social media. I was seriously worried after his interviews in the beginning of the season but now I feel that he is in a better place mentally.

Yes please.. I've re-watched it few times on my own but would love to do it again with others Though with my luck my internet will disappear again for some reason just like it did with Europeans and 4CC

Happy new year everyone Hope this year brings happiness to everyone and especially Yuzu

Our rematch with the tea leaves – GP Prediction Game 2.0!
Neenah replied to Joey's topic in Knickknacks: General Skating Chat
Only one point short from a top 10 finish .. Though my points are quite good considering the disasters I had in the game this season. Thank you @Joey, that was really fun and it must have been a lot of work for you -
Yuzuru will do what Yuzuru wants to do. It has always been like this and will always be like this. He is taking time to heal and had made it clear that he wants to continue skating and that is all I care about because I know that he will do his best to make it happen, no one is more committed or dedicated than Yuzu. We can't know the future (as proven by the prediction game ) so worrying will only stress us and Yuzuru unnecessarily Me, I will only pray for him and his health with no expectations because I believe that he gave me as a fan more than enough, and that it is all about him now. So, I will support anything he decides to do whether I think it is a good idea or not. What makes him happy and satisfied is what he should do, he is the only one who gets to decide what is worth it and what is not. He is not a child and he knows his body, health, dreams, and future plans and has proven time and time again that he considers everything he does carefully. I will trust him to do what is best for him, even if it is not what I think is best.

I am really in awe at the talent and dedication of Yuzu's fans, the beautiful fan art I have been seeing for his birthday is amazing I hope Yuzu spent some time on social media today and saw all of that, I am sure it would make him very happy and help lift his spirit after the injury and the pain
-
Happy Birthday Yuzu I wish you all the happiness in the world and hope you have a wonderful successful and healthy year
-
Can we have some of Yuzu's performances at Continues with wings? It is basically current and old Yuzu at the same time

I honestly have no idea what will happen in this competition in any discipline. Almost everyone have a chance of a podium and good chance of a meltdown (or whatever its equivalent in ice dance) and they all did both at some point this season -

11. For being the top skater in the world and the GOAT and still fanboying over his favourite skaters. Who other than Yuzu would dedicate two programs to skaters he respects right after winning his second Olympic gold. His achievements, status and medals did not make him look down on others or forget his roots and what influenced and inspired him to be who he is today. -
That's odd.. This statement is different from anything we've got about the injury so far. Is this a new interview? did Brain get an update from Yuzu about the injury that he is sharing now. Can anyone confirm The fall didn't look like it was different side from last year.

This is kind of worrying.. His answers to some of these questions are rising red flags in my head. I hope that he gets the support he needs and that his problems are not dismissed without being properly examined first. He is young and vulnerable to pressure, and he is under a lot of pressure.

I don't think there is any special meaning to his return to Japan. He usually goes to Japan for initial treatment or diagnoses and to Canada for rehab and continued treatment. So he is basically doing what he always does. And I hate that this happens so often that I can recognise a pattern in his behaviour

Really, that's interesting.. I was wondering myself if Shoma's family was like Marin's and I just didn't know about it.
