  1. That sounds amazing do you think you can upload them on gdrive when you download them? The ones that aren't fancams at least (unless you have permission from the person who took the video)
  2. it doesn't exist and is very very annoying however SkatingScores compiles many of them into their own format and it's way easier to use, although they get very mad if you download their data
  3. Many many videos with many views were removed from YouTube in the great purge of '18-'19.
  4. I am pretty sure Yuzu left when TCC closed in mid-March, why wouldn't he? Can't skate and Worlds was cancelled, so there was nothing to stay for. And Yuzu has shown some superhuman foresight so I'm sure he at least somewhat predicted what these next couple of months will be like. At least the pandemic wasn't that bad in March yet (Canada only had a few cases and Worlds was JUST canceled, not because of cases in Canada, but rather cases overseas). He has (hopefully very effective, at least very expensive) masks and a team to keep him safe, disinfect everything etc. I'm sure ANA took some precautions for him as well. So I believe he's self-isolating at home in Japan right now. And the video he sent to JSF shows he's okay
  5. I understand wanting to see Yuzu one last time before the end of the season (although next year there's gonna be the dreaded WTT........if events are held at all, of course). But...yeah, I think I may not purchase gala tickets, or may only purchase them when it's announced that Yuzu will participate. I can't really imagine Yuzu not participating though, he's literally 99% of the draw of watching the gala?? It'll make it much easier for Zakarian to sell his award tickets In fact, I don't think I'll go for all event tickets any longer. not only do you not even get good picks at the seats (thinking of this year's ticketing fiasco), they don't even make it subtle that they're trying to rob Yuzu fans. I'll probably purchase second hand tickets and only for the men's events + practices or something.
  6. BTW! I made some keychains and stickers. I'm no artist but it was fun to make these! DM me if you want any and I'll mail em to you anywhere in the world (For everyone in the Worlds thread where I posted cuz at first that's where I wanted to bring these...I should have mailed yours out already! If I didn't respond to your DM or you haven't gotten yours yet, let me know -- I didn't ignore anyone on purpose, but I might have missed a message or two. I have found that mail has been unpredictable and slow lately, though )
  7. yes, his team bronze. they showed Plushenko's team gold but not Adam's team bronze, haha.
  8. LOL the shade of showing Plushenko's team gold medal but not Adam's (jk I'm sure the author of the video just forgot) also, it's as hard to win the Olympics as teh GPF as a junior world champ, eh? I guess the GPF hasn't been around that long
  9. Thank you!! Wishing you well too!!
  10. Sigh, I wonder what would happen if we just can't even have next season at all...lots of skaters will be completely out of shape for the olympics, it's gonna be a huge unknown. lol
  11. What would you like to watch? Any suggestions would be welcome
  12. The foreign skaters at TCC are definitely on some sort of athlete's visa https://www.settler.ca/english/immigration-to-canada-for-athletes-coaches-and-athletic-events-organizers/ It does seem to state that athletes are eligible to apply for permanent residency, but I don't think the skaters at TCC would go through that process, and either way it takes many years (3+)
  13. If anyone angers from reading "I am grateful for my coaches and wish to be able to say goodbye in the future/give her flowers" from a 15 y.o. then...they should reflect on why that is and perhaps work on focusing on more important things in life.
  14. You see no other possible way for a skater and a skating coach to meet in a post-pandemic world other than to be in a working relationship? All of those gala and banquet photos people upload with Yuzu must be photoshopped, then.
  15. You see no other take for a 15 year old girl thanking her coach on Instagram after deciding to switch coaches as her new coach (whom she hasn't even begun to train under yet) trying to poach her old coach to his school? So Plushenko has taken over Sasha Trusova's Instagram now and is dropping hints through her Instagram to her ex-coach Dudakov who doesn't use instagram? Doesn't that sound a few levels too deep even for skating?
  16. LOL, if they made the flip and the lutz one jump that would mess with SO many layouts. Cuz right now you're not allowed to repeat any triple / quad more than twice, but since flips and lutzes are two different jumps, you can technically only know how to do a 3Lz or 3F and do it four times in a program. Honestly, it's unfair to skaters who are missing an edge jump because those are much harder to fake (like Yuna Kim only had 6 triples bc she couldn't do the loop, but Sotnikova was able to 3 flutzes in a program). If we made flips and lutzes the same jump, you wouldn't be able to do 7 triples in a program without a 3A anymore. Idk, honestly doing that might actually help make judging fairer, because almost no one has both the flip and the lutz, edges are very selectively called, and there's zero advantage to have a proper flip and lutz anyway...just ask Rika. And if you're Yuzu and would never do a 4F because you know you can't do a correct one, then you're again at a disadvantage from others who...just don't care and do it anyway.
