So we made the decision to remove the gallery. It hasn't really been used, which is understandable, because there are way better places to upload images and get better engagement. It costs us a little bit of money every year, and even though it isn't much, we decided it would be better to replace it with other things that are more useful. Thanks to everyone who uploaded images. Please download all your images because we can't guarantee that we'll be able to retrieve them afterwards. We'll be getting rid of the gallery in 1 month (July 25, 2020), so hopefully anyone who wants will have time to save their images. Thank you for understanding

COVID really sucked for them because Japan stopped sending packages overseas, especially to the US, for a long long time...and that was the nail in the coffin. I really loved Ichiroya -- they were super knowledgeable experts in vintage/antique Japanese textiles, clothing, and art... and very honest, hardworking, respectful people. I think other places have cheaper items but Ichiroya's is always the most well-described.
