So this is the Marca page where Javi mentions including the 4Lo. The google translated version of the blog who translated it from Spanish to Japanese (LOL) doesn't mention if he's doing 3 or 4 quads, only 3 different quads. But also says he's introducing a 3 triple combo. So 3Lz3T3Lo has really come, I wonder? Let's see the differences between a 3 quad layout with 3 different quads and two 3T combos and two 3As vs one with 4 quads and two 3As, while using the 3 triple combo. I understand that people like Yuzu don't tend to ever provide excuses for when they do badly, be it injury or otherwise. I actually prefer it too. In Nathan's case, he did complain about his boots and did say the pressure must have gotten to him, and honestly there already was a big narrative about it from the USA media anyway even prior to Worlds. The thing is, you could see the moment when he fell on that 4Lz that something was wrong with his boots, since he had to check them when he got up, and this made him change his planned layout on the spot and possibly not feel as confident as he might have. As such, we don't know what would have happened if he hadn't had that shift in confidence due to his boot problems and if he'd have managed to land (not necessarily particularly cleanly) all his planned jumps (the 2 4Lz and the 2 4F) otherwise. That's all I was saying.

Some small changes in Seimei (not sure if posted already):

These are all too similar to the original Seimei outfit. I expect some changes that don't rely only on changing the color of the accents. Is there any rank after 4A????

Considering it took 33 takes for him to be satisfied with Seimei, I'm not surprised actually.

I'm just not as invested in ladies skating as I am in the men's but I like it a lot still. They just really aren't doing many different elements from each other the way the men are.

How about Gabby Daleman? Powerful skater, with powerful jumps and she doesn't fit into the girly girl theme too much.

As much as I love that 4T+high kick, I think twizzles would fit the FS theme better.

Shae-Lynn Bourne choreographed Nathan's SP and I think Lori Nichols is choreographing his FS, though I haven't seen anything about it yet.

I do think a 5 quad program might suffer a bit in terms of transitions and setup more than a 3-4 quad program, even with Yuzu. I mean, I'm already mourning the loss of the footwork into the hidden 3A1Lo3S of Seimei 1.0, which I don't think he'll do going into the 4T combo. I think he can make up for it by giving me 4T twizzles, though. Come on, Zuzu, you did it at FaOI!
