  1. Technically, he jumped the 3F a lot less times than that if one were to count his 3F(e) as sorta-Lutzes.
  2. NDP also had the unfortunate role of being the FS that followed the Big Bang that was RJ1. And I seem to remember uncle Kurt (or someone else, I forget) commenting on how NDP seemed to have been specifically created to calm Yuzu down, so he wouldn't explode all over the place.
  3. Maybe he'll bring NDP back for his FS this season to show how much he's grown. I mean, can't be worse than going POTO again.
  4. I know someone should have been made accountable for that 0 to the last minute 3A at 4CC H&L. Or whoever gave a 0 or +1 to his 3F anytime in the later half of the season, when Yuzu even added a twizzle exit.
  5. I'm loving the music cuts of The Planets on Jun Hwan's FS! Also, I love his extensions/lines when he lands his triples in this run through. His 3A, though, continues to give me heart attacks.
  6. OMG yes. I need to see those backwards crossrolls again.
  7. Bringing this here because I love when people do these analysis: The FS 3F graphic is probably what my heart looks like whenever Zuzu skates.
  8. I mean, the choices are frenzy over repeating the 2014-2015 programs or frenzy over repeating 2015-2016 programs, since whatever FS he chooses to repeat, he's already repeating the SP from both! So, Zuzu, be less mindful of the planet and try not to recycle on the FS as well. I'm sure the planet will be happy with you recycling any of them as an EX, though!
  9. Yuzu has always been very naturally musical. And dramatic. I think one of my favorite things about him is that he has always been very expressive in his facial expressions and in his body movements, even when he was younger. Plus, his flow on the ice was amazing and it really highlighted how fast he was (is). Off topic: I can't believe when watching this video that I was surprised by his voice at the end. I kind of expected it to be higher because he was younger here but he already had adult!Yuzu voice.
  10. Then he and MCM can share notes.
  11. Even if it's Seimei again?
  12. We feel you, Chloe.
  13. All these 90s babies, and then you have Vincent and Jun-Hwan breaking the pattern. Edit: Oh wait, we also have a couple of 80s 'old men'. Edit 2: The differences in PB between the 'Top 6' and everyone else.
  14. There's going to be a bunch of things happening these next two weeks/weekends I won't be around for. Going on vacation, oh yeah.
  15. Who is to say there aren't competitive junior men also practicing multiple quads right now? I mean, is Stephen Gogolev going junior this season? He is as crazy as any of these girls throwing quads and 3As. It just seems more impressive and newsworthy when it comes to junior girls doing this than the boys because quads in men have been around for ages but you've only ever seen a ratified quad in ladies in competition once, ever, and the 3A is so rarely used as well.
  16. I think when one compares Yuzu's RJ1 and Vincent's RJ in terms of interpretation, it's important to also remember Yuzu's WC2012 version had been skated in almost 60 shows and the GP season by then. This was Vincent's first outing. I remember watching some of @kaeryth's show compilation videos from early RJ1 and though there are quite a few differences in SS and flow even then, Yuzu wasn't yet particularly good at the choreography either, which was refined on his visit to Russia and with more performances.
  17. Given the previous media days were apparently on Tuesday or Thursday, I'd say either August 3, 8 or 10.
  18. It's a genius strategy. By the time we see him again after the TCC media day, he'll be with little kids and we'll think him so adorable we won't care anymore that he's recycling something or using a major warhorse, whatever it'll likely be.
  19. *chuckles* *prepares herself for Seimei*
  20. Better. This app is so darn inconsistent, though.
  21. Ignoring the ridiculously 70s video, I really like Patrick's choice of SP music and am looking forward to seeing what he does with it. Hallelujah I know is going to make me tear up.
  22. Yuna Shiraiwa's interview (translated).
  23. Height talk is always important! Yuzu changes from tall to short in a blink. Vincent is supposed to be 1.68cm according to ISU and Wiki. Either he had a big growth spurt or he's on skates?
  24. No wonder he has a complex, the internet keeps confusing him with one.
