Patrick Chan's thighs are humongous. He should get an award for them.

Other Skaters' 2017/18 program announcements
xeyra replied to CupidsBow's topic in Knickknacks: General Skating Chat
I saw a video linked elsewhere but it has a password so I don't feel comfortable bringing it here. It's a sort of techno Carmen arrangement. I don't know if I like it or not yet. I did like some of her choreography, very Carmen-esque. The insistence on a rippon 3Lz is still not doing wonders for her (she fell on it) but it's just the early season. -
Well, most I can say is he doesn't have the worse one! I think only the ladies can save a jump face, though.
-
I agree with the "Gosh, I wish he would just not... That is... not... good." sentiment on RJ1s A-spin. I don't particularly mind the spin if it's short (only 3 revolutions), but I don't really want to look at your butt for that long, Yuzu, especially when you were 17. Speaking of butt spins, is there a name for Shoma's variation in this combo spin of his?

With your new icon, you need a pun-ier title. Get to work on that!

Literal 'my body is ready' interpretation.

I'm just lowering @Geo1's expectations, just in case.
-
The girls make it work, though. The men, not so much.
-
Thank you! And thank you @kaeryth.

Does anyone have the links to the two movies? I forgot to save them and now I don't know if they were posted on this thread at all.
-
Save yourself. Nothing happened, just bored people on the internet.

OMG. *snort*

<-------------- I feel ashamed.

I'm so sorry, Boyang. I had to!

A face only a mother could love.

Patrick got 9.25, Nathan 9 for SS. Granted, Patrick had 2 falls but still.... it's skating skills! The thing Patrick is known for and the very best at! He had better scoring in SS (9.36) at GPF with 3 falls!
-
Nothing happened, really, except this has now become a Boyangman fan forum. Zuzu, you're dismissed.
-
Yeah, he was riding that GPF/Nationals momentum. And 4CC judging was *interesting*..... I mean, let's not talk about the Mexican judge or the turnaround of the Canadian judge who disliked Yuzu's SP but gave him some of the highest scores for his FS. Politics, what can you do? Edit: My main issue with 4CC judging wasn't even related to Yuzu but the fact judges decided the difference between Nathan and Patrick Chan's SS was 0.25 points.
-
This is becoming a bit OT but continuing the 4Lz3T talk, I actually think Nathan's combo at GPF (also 19.90 total score) was better than at 4CC, though he got better scoring in the latter.
-
Nevermind, found it. Boyang's best 4Lz3T was from his Worlds 2017 SP, in which he got +2 GOE for a total of 19.90. Nathan's at 4CC got 2.43 GOE for a total of 20.33. And I'll have to agree, now that I see both in quick succession. I think Nathan transitioned better to the 3T but Boyang's distance and height on the 4Lz were so much better! They both had an average extension on exit. I'd give the edge to Boyang's based on these two best scored attempts. But it's different competitions, so it's a moot point.
-
Which of Boyang's 4Lz3T had the previous record, you recall? I'd like to see it!
-
My favorite CoD was GPF SP. It was so smooth and in tune with the music and he had such an attitude on the landing.
-
Nathan's 4CC 4Lz3T was pretty good, though. Maybe slightly overscored but 4CC's judging was wild all around.
-
I'm not sure. Might be he'd be the kind of coach who wouldn't sweet talk you and just tell it like it is!
