Yuzu (and Satton ) in the NHK GP promotional banner.

Snippet of Rika Hongo's Frida Khalo program in this news program, as well as others:
-
Yeah, most of the GOE I used in all of these tables are from 4CC where he had his best programs outside of Nationals.

I don't count nationals for anyone, including Nathan, for obvious reasons. Nationals scoring is always suspect since it's not indicative of international judging.

I did something like that a while ago with various layout options but they're probably not very valid anymore (for one, Shoma is doing 3 quads in the second half and these layouts don't contemplate that). Here. Basically uses the best GOE each got for each element in each segment to extrapolate possible scores. There's this one as well. Not sure if it's what you wanted.

I would like to remind people that Nathan's issues at Worlds were partly due to his boot problems. It's impossible to know what would have happened if he hadn't those issues and if he could manage that 6-quad program, but I wouldn't put it past him.

Boyang I'm not sure but Nathan is doing US International, which is also before Yuzu and Javi's ACI.

Well, he already attempted 6 at Worlds. So the 6-quad layout with 2x4Lz and 2x4F he planned there is probably a go again, with the possibility of a 3/5 distribution instead of the 4/4. And I'm betting on at least a backloaded 4F in the SP (his SP starts with the 3A so at least one quad will be backloaded for sure). Nathan bringing the BV game. His SP, at least, I'm sure will be positively received in terms of PCS. I enjoyed the snippets I watched a lot.

OMG they literally film everything except him getting dressed, at least.

That second photo.

He might also keep an eye out for Shoma at Lombardia, which is earlier than ACI.

Oh, I'm sure he's considering the 4Lz even if he says he isn't. I just wonder if he'll test the waters on the 3-quads in second half at ACI with or without it.

This would be so impractical.

Seems pretty similar from the snippets but we haven't really seen everything yet.

A little math for fun, with max possible score for each BV possibility (the layouts without and with the 4Lz): SP BV SP MAX SCORE FS BV FS MAX SCORE TOTAL MAX SCORE 51.01 TES: 66.61 PCS: 50 Total: 116.61 105.41 TES: 136.31 PCS: 100 Total: 236.31 352.92 111.26 TES: 143.06 PCS: 100 Total: 243.06 359.67 It is, of course, very unlikely he'd get anywhere near the maximum score for these, so here are a few possible intervals for clean FS scores. SP BV SP SCORE FS BV FS SCORE TOTAL SCORE 51.01 TES: 63-66 PCS: 47-49 Total: 110-115 105.41 TES: 128-132 PCS: 96-98 Total: 224-230 334-345 111.26 TES: 135-138 PCS: 96-98 Total: 231-236 341-351 Note: He is more likely to be cleaner with the non-4Lz FS and maybe consistency may work in his GOEs favor. We'll see.

Actually, Yuzu is first at ACI and Shoma second at Japan Open. Wait, wait, is Shoma doing Lombardia? If so, he goes first.

I think we all went through this early on with Chopin and we had the hint of Seimei already from then, so it's more chill now because we've had more time to get used to this. Plus, it's normal to be disappointed we're not getting any new programs outside of the EX (you're not repeating the EX too, are you, Trollzuru!????), even if we understand and accept it.
-
Just a slight correction. The FCCoSp4 spin is worth 3.5 BV, not 3.2, which would make the BV 105.41 and the total BV 156.42
-
The TCC skater who first said people would be either very disappointed or very happy about Yuzu's FS also mentioned in @gladi's post, in the replies, that she watched Shae-Lynn work on new steps for Seimei. So there'll be some changes there. One thing I am going to miss from Seimei 1.0 that I'm sure we won't have in Seimei 2.0 because of the changed combo is his entry into the 3A1Lo3S. The hidden 3A that made Uncle Kurt ecstatic back in 2015. And I'll miss the element structuring of H&L, to be honest. I really liked the jump after the Choreo sequence, no matter how nerve wrecking it was, as well as the 3F right after the StSq. The 5 jumps in a row in Seimei never left him much space to breathe in between the last few elements. Also, if he is planning on the 3A as a contingency plan, it might explain why the solo 3A in the video didn't seem to have much of a complex entry. I'm of two minds whether to mourn the nonexistent 4Lz or keep the hope alive it's just misdirection.
-
I'm confused by this talk of 3A as contingency plan. And the idea that he's basically just replacing a 3A for a 4T and calling it a day in terms of upgrade. Smells like misdirection but it can be my hopes talking. I'm going to wait and see what happens at ACI.
-
If he's doing two 3As in this Seimei runthrough, he's going for the 4Lz even if he has replaced it so far with something else. Otherwise he can't do two 3As. Relax, his real BV will be the 111.26 one. Oh wait, nevermind, I just saw the article. Errr.... hoping it's misdirection because otherwise it seems a risky move, to upgrade so little comparatively.

I question your judgement!
-
Not even Yuzu can make the jump face look good.
-
Nathan's and Shoma's SP look very promising to go head to head with Chopin. We shall see with their FS.
-
Place holding that second mysterious jump. But if he skated with two 3As... then it's coming no matter what. Anyways, waiting until ACI it is.
