    4T3T is the combo for Chopin, though. He's planning on doing 4S3T for Seimei. I wonder if we'll see the rippon 3T in any of his combos or if he's just merely experimenting with stuff in practice. Though that 3T rippon looked too smoothly landed to be something he hasn't been trying out more often than just this once.

    The thing with a 3Lz3T3Lo combo is that it's only going to be factored by 0.7, so its maximum GOE will ever only be 2.10 and it's doubtful it would ever get that. In effect, Javi would be taking the 3T he usually uses in combo with a quad or his 3A, factored at 1, to add it to a (more) difficult combo that is factored by less. A 4T3T3Lo combo, like Nobu and Plushy did... now that would be time better spent practicing, I think. This without thinking of how hard it is to fully rotate a 3Lo at the end of a jump. Not even many of the ladies do this and they have lighter bodies. But if Javi has actually been training 3T3Lo ending combos, then I can't think of why he couldn't try adding that to a 4T. His 4Ts are pretty stable.

    Mostly, it's because he doesn't actually say he's adding the 4Lo for certain, just that it's a plan. So maybe they're correcting from 'going to add' to 'may add'.

    The difference in BV is 3 points, but it doesn't matter because you can only use one 3T combo regardless of where you place it, if you're repeating two other quad/triple jumps, but I'm talking about GOE and judge impression. It seems they tend to give +3 GOE more often to 4-3 combos than 4-2 combos. All based on that perception of difficulty?

    That's just an unnecessarily difficult combo to do, though, since to use the 3T on the 3A (or another triple) he's taking it out from a quad. And a 4-3 combo looks better on the GOE than a 4-2 combo. Plus the risk of UR'ing the 3Lo at the end.

    He tried 4T3T3Lo and 4S3T3Lo at GPF gala practice last season. The 3Lo tended to be a bit of an issue, in terms of landing edge flow, and he tended to UR it a bit. So it's not an easy combo to do. Unless you're named Nobunari Oda.
