Nathan is looking at colleges near his training rink, though. I'm not sure he is planning on just packing up and leaving after the Olympics, but it can depend on many factors: whether he wins OGM, whether he is motivated after, whether his courses are too heavy a workload for easy reconciliation with FS. We do know he has clear goals for himself in terms of a college education but I suspect even he doesn't know if he has clear goals in terms of FS as well.

Is that because people were making a joke about Twitter trending Vertigo2017? Please don't believe everything you see on twitter! The other day someone took the fake texts as true, like the one where Yuzu dropped a bowl of noodles on the ice.... Okay that one was too outrageous to be believable. Like who eats noodles at a icerink? I just saw the trending and thought it was real... but atleast we wont be seeing the leather (a.ka trash bag) pants again :rofl2: Yata will be so glad. :rofl2:

I agree. But unfortunately the TES strategy might just defeat the rounded approach in the end, depending on what happens on the day. Nathan has a lot of potential; his junior programs, his EX numbers, they all show that he is musical and can work on those components (even if I do continue to think his knees are still rather stiff regardless) but 6-7 quad FS won't leave room for much else, including all this potential he might have.

If he's thinking of 7 quads, PCS aren't going to be his priority. Skating past 2018 probably not either. The judges will help out on the PCS if he keeps delivering the TES, though. Not going back to Marina doesn't necessarily mean he's not going to work with someone else who will help him in that department. The problem is that there's not much that can be done there if he does decide he wants to go for those 7-quads. I mean, I already don't think there's much of a program with 6-quads, let alone one more.

If going by [link=https://twitter.com/rockerskating/status/846409033452048384]Jackie Wong's tweet[/link] at the time of his 6-quad layout at Worlds, the BV would be 115.74, assuming all level 4s. A 7-quad layout with the 4Lo could go up to 122 BV.

hahahh he even botched some in here. I really hope to see another swan in the ice shows with perfect twizzles+3A+twizzles or maybe it was simply never meant to be There will always be NHK 2016. And more or less WTT 2017.

OMG a spiral entry to 3A would be amazing! :love: something I never thought I needed but I definitely need to see one now lol :goe: Wouldn't he lose too much speed going into 3A from a spiral? Like what happened at WTT? But if he can do 3A from standstill it is not much of an issue i guess. :smile: Exactly. If anyone can do a 3A from a Hydroblade or a Spiral, it's Yuzu. I think there was a lady known for doing a jump after a spiral, but I forgot who it was. I just seem to remember reading or watching it somewhere back in GS.
