I'm glad that Yuzu shared his thoughts even if it's painful to read. Of course it's not like ISU (or even JSF) or western media will care about some interview in Japanese, it's not like he said it at official press-con. I would really like Yuzu to have such insightful interview with let's say Ted, but one can dream and it's not like it will change scoring. For now I'm happy that SC went how it went in terms of skating and scoring, I don't have any illusions for future comps judging, can only admire one more time Yuzu's strength, will and love for skating.

And how good of them to announce the idea when most tickets are already sold... will medalists at least still skate at the Gala? I get that Gala is not most popular event (maybe tickets must be cheaper and not as for the all-day competition event?) and maybe a couple of show numbers is not bad, but to pay to see some ridiculous awards instead of actual skating?

I hope for Kevin, his chances are not bad, though can be Dima too if skates good at CoR (though I really dunno what to expect from him sometimes) CoC winner is the most unpredictable now.

Did you tried VPN? Opera worked great for me. In Russia 1st Channel is broadcasting but not everything is on TV and I don't like to watch via their website, youtube works much better, also no-comment is a great plus.

That's why I don't care much that Japan for WC will have it's judge only for ID, then rus judge and us judge are of course in all disciplines.

And then or before (I'm not sure Nathan will stick around after Beijing) USA will have Alysa maybe if her jumps hold up or Vince will be up there, it's more about strong feds wanting their skater on top and less about made-up rivalry. I always wonder why JSF is so weak in political field, having tons of sponsors from Japan, maybe cuz of not so long popularity of the sport comparing or just simply bad politics.

Actually for an EX white LGC would be great too, don't get me wrong I adore purple one , but white looks great on him and in the show light must look good.

I would like Masquerade (not an option) or new one. Realistically it will be HYK or Crystal. I love Y-spiral and last stsq in Crystal but as a whole I think I like HYK more and in comps he skated it only two times. But that's just my wish, I'm not making any predictions cuz I'm really bad with them))

I will miss Eurosport player without comments (will have to stuck with Russian comments now). The best way could be paid on-line subscription (per event or per season) with video archive cuz it's not like that many countries have TV broadcast, but to wait it from ISU feels like a miracle should happen...

All in all I find FS comps very positive and with good atmosphere, of course some screaming in not the right moment can happen but it's not like it happens a lot. And I find myself when I'm watching at the arena I want everybody to perform good, when on TV it's not like I wish for somebody to do bad, more like feeling detached and mostly wishing best and watching carefully the ones I like. I think at the arena it feels more personal, like you see a person try their best in front of you and you wish him the best. At least it feels like it for me.

As much as charity donation is great idea, I feel like throwing flowers and toys is a long-time tradition of appreciating a skater right after the performance. If an athlete/artist has it's own charity foundation I think there's a way to help, if not there must be some organizer and I don't think it's that easy to make an international platform (only if it's not like send sms to the number and money will go to... during comps).

The only question is why didn't they had it during Worlds? I might buy some from it then... At least I have Origin bath salt...

Ahhhh, sweet memories... One of the best comps ever, great city, amazing competition - all men (expect of Daisuke Murakami) skated better end better in the free one after the other, then Yuzu giving interview to Sara "scores is scores and performance is performance" - I can hear it now in my head
