  1. I didn't vote cuz love all sides of Yuzu, but to this question I'll answer hot, cuz we didn't see it in competition for some time. The ideal will be rockstar like SP (maybe EX) and classical FS. I adore hot and playful Yuzu, but at the same time programs like Ballade are where he's truly the one with the music and this combination leave me breathless. But I must say "cool/cold" type also differs to me. I loved Ballade from the start, I warmed up to H&L for a long time, I like Otonal cuz of the way he skates to it but comparing prefer Ballade mostly cuz of music. So if we talk about "cool/cold" I lately miss good classics from FS, cuz most skaters are trying to go more "modern" in the music, and Yuzu can make justice to such "big" music that not everybody can.
  2. Mine is Seimei choreo stsq from 2015, never thought about changing and too used to it by now.
  3. As I understood from other translations JSF is against using flags and Japan sign by athletes apart from official team uniform. And there's some fight over twitter now about some company if it's OK to use flag on the mask or not, and Yuzu's old photo from 2015 was just dragged along into it.
  4. He for sure knows with all the "occasional" abs flashing in last years in FAOI and other fanservice lol Label might know too cuz it's pretty popular and he for sure lurks somewhere sometime, though if it's only Japanese twitter I don't know if it had some label there
  5. Yes, that was funny also how he looked in the mirrors after cutting ponytail
  6. That for sure was a long chat Didn't knew TCC rink is little smaller then usual. Also interesting perspective from an athlete about skating without viewers, it will be sad but better then nothing (not a quote, but the meaning I've got), cuz you still must present programs to judges, also rules change etc.
  7. I'm not a fan of both, or rather never listened much, though loved rock music. But Jeff's choreo is a masterpiece, I find him and Yuzu a perfect match in creative department, even if first performances were not convincing (but first year of PW was for sure cute, I remember so many debates over it then lol), Yuzu made both programs work great in the end, now I'm sure he can make work any program from the start.
  8. I remember watching on the bad stream, I liked purple and pants seems shiny during spins, but after that first high-res pics followed and everybody went NHK was already much better performance then ACI and SC, but GPF is my still fave one - it was first time he encouraged crowed to scream along - cheeky boy
  9. Yes, JapanPost doesn't send here anything, who knows when will start again (though I saved shittones of money for magazines, cuz didn't make orders before WC and then...). I wonder why though, maybe little demand and small amount of planes. Form China I get my parcels with no problem. At least I don't remember that photobooks ran out of stock, so hope will be able to order them later.
  10. I don't know how funding goes in Canada, as far as I heard even national champions and guys from the main team pay themselves almost for all. But maybe someone can correct me.
  11. Interesting vlog from Romsky. It's sad that skaters without big sponsors and Fed support will have even more disadvantage now, cuz of course with little people on the ice and without public groups, the ice will be even more expensive. Though still might be better then no ice at all.
  12. I think in Japan a lot can train already or will start soon. It seems like in Ontario the process will be slower than in other places.
  13. I think he is more likely in Japan, we don't have 100% confirmed information, that's why I don't say it as fact, that's all. My only concern is travel during pandemic, but with safety measures (high-end mask, business class with less people around etc.) he still could go to Japan.
  14. I think in regards to travel every country will behave differently, cuz some economics depend on travel industry a lot, some less (Canada is in much less category I guess) and as vaccine can take a couple of years I just can't see borders shut for that long (I personally will be very depressed without being able to spend a vacation with travelling) . The same goes to sport industry. But we will see what happens, I'm sure ISU will want as many comps as possible but they depend on local officials anyway.
  15. I hope Yuzu was with family at these times, but I would worry less if he can train at TCC under his coach eyes, cuz he may be adult and all, but at the same time we all remember that one GPF practice...
  16. I might agree, he also always mention that skates for those in front of the TV too. Though the costume reveal without screaming - that would be really sad.
  17. We already figured that in March. I just wish Feds will discuss the situation beforehand with officials so it wouldn't be last minute drop out (maybe I'm naive though cuz ISU = big Feds)
  18. Apart from Yuzu I will miss skaters who can have a chance to shine mostly during GPs, at bigger comps they will be in lower groups or will not even make it to the team (Russian, Japanese, Americans, Canadian boys, Korean girls).
  19. Or events will only be held in countries with no quarantine and tests upon arrival like Austria (I heard in the news that's how it goes there). I think ISU said that events will be decided on 12 weeks ahead? At least for GPs, not sure about Challengers. With GPs the most problem will be if some Feds will want to have an event and 1-2 will cancel, then skaters from cancelled events will be in bad position. JGP I think is almost no chance, cuz it's too early and there's also much more skaters then in seniors, so harder to organize.
  20. Seems like Rika is back on the ice
  21. In theory he might be right, but if I remember right some time ago he said that 4Lo is the hardest, but now Dima has "4Lz" so
  22. A lot of skaters skate their numbers at shows on the smaller ice, so it's not like they need new choreo and it's not like many put a lot of thought into EX numbers (if we're talking generally and not about Yuzu).
  23. They plan smth like this here later too, though I wonder if it's effective, cuz distance seems to be smaller then 1.5-2m and people are in the closed space anyway. I've heard they wanted smth like this for air planes, but maybe decided against it in the end, cuz it's even more ridiculous (I think to include at least N95 mask at the price of a plane ticket will be more effective).
  24. It was in all the sports news yesterday at least. I don't think it's just summer camp, if I remember right there're camps for figure skaters even before big comps in winter, so it must be all-year round.
  25. It's still kinda hard if you know there's one more chance to see Yuzu. But good lesson from Montreal - don't buy all-event at least close to the short side cuz view can be just blocked. I wish they would sell all event without Gala like in Japan. I guess the reference was that NHL has some kind of awards. But it's not during match and NHL is in another league in terms of money. I only wonder how he convinced ISU to pay for the event.
