Brian's PR was great at PC (whoever choose it, he played it right), also his PR for his later students is good too, as every coach he mentions their strong points, but with Yuzu it's like "sometimes he's not thinking what he's talking about" (c) (don't remember the exact quote). I really prefer when Ghislain is doing the talking or Tracy.

Not always, I'd say she has her ups and downs. Like for Shoma I think this year's designer was doing better.
-
Not JSF's darling? Too independent? Internal politics? There could be many reasons. It's not like Shoma has problems with score, most of the time they're more generous than they should be.

I have too many to choose If you don't want to buy a lot I think Ice Jewels season photobooks are the best way to go. From magazines Kiss and Cry usually has very nice photos and sometimes have posters, DX are good, especially if you want photos from a certain event, In Rock are good cuz of big pages but photo quality sometimes varies (a couple of times some photos were a little blurred for such big pages), Memorial has a lot of photos, but page size is a little smaller than other magazines.

Wow, you've been on a quite planes, usually there's smb noisy around, so I prefer smth with earplugs. Good time to catch up! I always wonder why Japanese TV always find a way to screw up camerawork, as they have a lot of ice shows and there're not shown live.

Yeah, I know about Yuzu, I meant that don't want to be in his shoes as I'm completely different personality. Yuzu really has unique character

Never had that thought, it would be nice to have that level of belief (and that drive for hardwork might be useful), but can't imagine to put so much pressure on myself at the same time. I usually take videos (films, TV series for a long flight) to pass the time, not comfortable environment for studying. I think Yuzu said he mostly tries to sleep. I sadly can't sleep on the planes (apart from very rare occasions when there're less people and you can lay down on a nearby seat).

In pairs I think it's actually good that at least quad throws are not worth the risk point wise, too much injuries during trying to learn them. Though jumps I think should be scored a little more in pairs then in singles. About ice dance let's just agree to disagree I prefer pairs MUCH more (and more than ladies).

I also see no point in changes. Artistic program will be longer short with less quads, but 2 quads SP is now not a problem for top contenders. And technical will be just a quad fest? What about ladies? They don't have quads in SP, so for artistic will be one triple or what? It will be more boring than ice dance. What about pairs? I mostly pity juniors who will come to senior and will need to adapt to the new rules. Just because they can't judge by rulebook let's just ruin the sport. Though technical program might be more fun as artistic it's just pure judges tastes (or right Fed).

I think I did smth similar in my last school years to enter a good university cuz school education was not enough even if I had good marks, but it was more to deeper study certain subjects.
-
Not only you but I only took a visitor ticket to see the rink (VERY cold) and looked the gallery corner (which is free). Needed time for other places too for the day.

It's diploma after you finish 11 years of school. She (and Alexandra Boikova too) will have university entrance exams in the beginning of July. It was moved to later date cuz of virus, should be in June. Russian boarder is still closed, so I don't know where she is. Also she's not Russian, so I don't think she can join the camp - it's Russian team training camp, not just rented ice rink. Though ice rinks for athletes should be opened already, so she can train in other place. Sinitsyna/Kataslapov and Sarah Hurtado are not in the camp too. Novogorsk is a big base, not just ice rink (I've read there're 3 ice rinks), so there are also gymnastic teams and other summer athletes.

There's that famous shopping street up to Kiyomizu dera, apart from different souvenirs they also sell pickles and yatsuhashi, which you can try for free in different shops, so you can be full before you reach the temple
-
I like pickles, mustard, cheese and red pepper Not a fan of garlic though. Kyoto pickles are quite famous, I think, and tasty!

Yes, there were local synchro skaters (but they were competitors), local ice dance (not competitors), Russian synchro skaters (which won in the final), I also think synchro skaters were in Gala in Finland cuz it's more popular there, but don't remember for sure. So yes, organizers usually add locals or smb fun from competitors. I think apart from medalists it's up to them to decide.
-
I think it depends on the organizers. Years ago it was smth like 1-5 places, now I think it's more flexible like usually 1-4 places, plus smb. with fun EX like Keegan or Elladj Balde, might be some local skater even with not high place, at CoR there're usually someone local from novice or juniors. At GPF they have also have 1st place from juniors and they had synhro skating final also that year together with others.

The thing I tried was not sweet at all, but I liked zunda when it was in cookies, milkshakes etc.
-
Doesn't work for me and even not as much of famous boobskirt, I never liked too big rhinestones on the sleeves and mesh on the collar, the mesh was too dark and didn't like the cut. Only gradient at the waist was nice.
-
At the same time I've heard the most cases they had was in long care homes. I really don't want to make judgement based only on the small bits of news as I'm not living there. It seems like countries have too different approach to statistics.
-
well, some skating costumes still were questionable, that I can agree
-
ohhhh... white pants looked gorgeous on him! but what doesn't?
-
In pairs I think it's mostly very good still, at least if we look at the speed and flow, in ID hard to say and I don't understand much, but in singles it's more obvious (though not for all at least, still there're different schools). Though you can't even blame schools that much cuz in the end it's jumps that gives you points even in the second mark, so not much motivation to change anything from ISU side in the first place.

I don't think skating skills ever were a priority in Russian schools. That's my impression.
