When athlete isn't training he might prefer causal clothes, but I think Yuzu prefers comfortable sports clothes. These videos are more or less competition (sports events) related, that's why he might decide to stick to the training clothes.

Photobook is back on cdjapan (they have all 3) https://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/NEOBK-2501371

I've read some reports here about volunteer job during Milano WC and the thing is you never know in what area you'll be working. It might be arena (then you're lucky) or might be just some office work, so I wouldn't make any bet on it. You must look at the application and see if they ask at what times you want to be free, so you can ask for a free time during men's events maybe (at Helsinki WC I sold my spare FS ticket to a girl who was a volunteer and wanted to have a better seat for the event cuz volunteer seats were very high up). So if you want to help out, visit event and save money it's worth a shot, but check the rules in the application first, cuz there's no guarantee you'll see Yuzu. A friend of my friend volunteered during Sochi Olys - it was fun experience, but they were there around a month (with training before event), I personally just can't afford so much time off.

his fingers are very long But mine are longer according to the Sendai monument at least

I'm sure Chinese audience will support Boyang too but from little I saw from weibo (different polls, number of fan-groups), I think Yuzu is still much more popular. And I find that in such sport like FS it's more natural to cheer for an athlete not from your country, cuz in some way it's still an art and not just higher, faster, stronger. And they also have S/H to go for that gold in pairs.

I love Shingo's wall *and cat*

Sometimes we also get a couple of seconds of new videos from Japanese TV archive! I just wish they'll dig deeper and more often...

Yeah, I know some magazines (like In Rock) are sold out there, but some things got restocked, so I'll check closer to the selling date. Sadly Amazon doesn't deliver here, though there's always proxy shopping (only harder to find delivery options now).

I would prefer if he'll reuse his SP though. But as he's abroad from current coach and a lot of uncertainty about season, recycling is understandable really.

Ouch... and I didn't order yesterday cuz I thought maybe wait for Kiss and Cry, hope it will be on cdjapan later again, will not think twice then.

I think we all don't know what will happen with the season, still I believe most athletes will prefer to keep training even in these times (Yuzu might have a lot more time to conquer that 4A now). Also I believe it's better to train with your coaches by your side and not on skype. Whenever Yuzu is right now I'm sure he tries his best to keep form and doing what he can at the time.

I think the most problem was not being in Japan itself but posting video with dancing in the park when people were asked to quarantine themselves in Japan, and later get rude and defensive in SNS. I think the best would be when she was in Japan already to keep at least SNS profile on the low as she's a public figure. But it is what it is and people can decide how to relate to this.
-
I don't want to defend her (public behavior in the first place) but I have thought that she might wait for an opportunity to return to Canada maybe? At least Jason said recently that he hopes to go back in June. If she returns to Russia she must go thorough 14-days quarantine, then maybe join training camp, but she'll be without a coach (it's not like this training camp is an obligatory). Then who knows when Russian boarder will reopen and after she'll have to go thorough 14-days quarantine in Canada, so seems like for training it's better to return straight to Canada. Well, she made this mess herself in the first place, though it's just a speculation from my side.
-
I think he can return with quarantine time (if he left in the first place), cuz it's still better to train with coaches alongside. But he can also wait a little for other restrictions to be lifted. Like when choreographers will be allowed on the ice, when areas for physical training will open etc. I don't think quarantine rules will be lifted soon or during summer at least.

I think it's not released yet. I don't know if Amazon has pre-order as I usually use cdjapan

I'm not arguing about last season, but it's the first season were Yuzu started intentionally change his planned layout during FS from comp to comp, I'm not talking about YOLO here. We can remember how he sticked to 4S_planned_fall in early days or how he insisted to get 4Lo from the start of 2016-2017 season. He changed his layouts in 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 but it's cuz of injuries. Before that he only added second quad to SP during 2015-2016 (I still remember the nervous feeling before NHK 2015 SP and now it's like normal to have 2 quads SP ) and changed to 2 4S by Worlds in FS but it's also cuz of injure. I think this season layout changes were a wise thing, cuz it's really hard to be at the top form during GP season and Nats with a lot of comps one after other and more and more quads added. I wonder what a strategy he'll choose with 4A - to try it in the lesser comp or save for a big one? Might depend on how it goes or his feeling during the day.

Apart from last season and injuries Yuzu preferred to stick to a certain layout through the season to get it perfect by the main comps. Nathan on the opposite played with jumps here and there, not to overwork himself when the field was not too deep during first GPs or Nats. I think sometimes Yuzu makes mistakes cuz of his particular timing to the music, sometimes gets too emotional - those things we love him for, plus lots of transitions make it harder on him too. Nathan can toss his jumps around like he wants, it's not like there's too much choreo anyway. Of course he is unique athlete too in his own way cuz a few can jump so much quads even without choreo/transitions. The problem is based judging anyway and it's not smth new. Maybe if Yuzu was totally consistent it would be a little less exciting to follow him, who knows (but a lot more nerves would be saved, that's for sure ). The only thing I don't like the most it's to see Yuzu sad and blaming himself, though at least 4CC seemed like good restart - great end of a cursed season.
-
I'm already not so sure, but then we can see if at least 1% dignity is left in judges. Though I'm more sad that Yuzu gets hard punishment even for not many mistakes and not 100% rewarded for his great elements, so he needs to be foot perfect and 4A on top of it.
-
The problem is that too much depends on GOEs now and pity that Yuzu must be foot perfect to get deserved GOEs and even then it can be lower

If only the scores were given away according to how they are supposed it's a dream land, sadly
