And it's ninth season of fangirling for me... and with every new one it feels like I'm fangirling more and more time truly flies... it's so nice to see that Yuzu became this amazing young man but at the same time he's still this cute boy with pooh by his side

LGC might still not agree but as much as I liked gold feathers on the first version I think this one fits better and color is very beautiful, also those flowers on his lower back I find quite flirty and hair are perfect

*whispers* Beijing GPF first (shuddering thinking about fighting for tickets with Chinese fans), but I try to take it step by step and not go so far ahead, this season just started.

I believe some time ago there were already sayings about split TES and PCS panels but that would mean twice more judges. At least more quality cameras for edges and URs can be good first step, the problem is it will be harder for big feds to lobby skaters with not ideal technique. Some of the ISU members rather split FS into jump and artistic programs, I feel like politics live in their own vacuum.

I'd say fate + talent + desire to work very hard for it. I think last part is the hardest, as much as I admire Yuzu I can't imagine myself that much of a hardworking person. Sometimes if I'm into something/have some idea/project I can work day and night for it but usually it's not some long-term project, surely not all my life since kindergarten.

I'm not sure judges have that long memory, they judge a lot of comps or they can simply might not even liked Plush's program back then (he was not everybody's cup skater). So I think you just dig too deep, now it's more like TES+politics (which was always there).

Of course Yuzu must exceed expectations to have fair scores just because, I mean that for high PCS the main trend now is that it goes with high TES and more or less mistakes free performance, great interpretation and SS itself will not give him high PCS (sad reality). So to be on top he must be complete package, not to give any judge a doubt, which he perfectly knows himself. For me it was, he was so cheeky after that saved 4Lo))) same with Otonal, maybe it can be cleaner but the mood and feeling at CoR was perfect. But this is of course my opinion, I'm sure Yuzu has another)))

I don't completely agree with this. All that God-like concept it's what Shae-Lynn sees in the program and Yuzu himself can think of other things. I don't think you need to know the background to get into the program if choreography matches the music and that's Yuzu's case clearly. The only thing he needs is tons of stamina cuz FS is very demanding and also big jumps, at least 4Lz, cuz we know for what judges give out PCS nowdays.

I've read it's not for all the countries, for Scandinavia for now, seems like UK is safe (in the thread)

Gold with feathers can be good (I guess it will be a collaboration with a professional designer anyway), I'm more interested will it be ladies or man model? And how much it will cost (maybe the more the better so I will not even think about buying it )

And if we add 2014-2015 and second part of 2015-2016... well, a calmer (haha) season can be good (for a change)

Well, will be not the first time)) I dunno about judges but it's quite usual when at the competition not so famous skater uses famous music they receive quite a lot of support from the public. Like Boikova/Kozlovsky FS last season - yes, they skated very good but it was their first senior season and I believe that part of the support came from the known music (there were other similar cases before). And I can say that with a lot of modern stuff I became to miss some classics from great skaters like Rachmaninov from Patrick and Mao.

I also would prefer new ones, but at the same time I'm too grateful that Yuzu still competes to complain)) Origin is quite demanding program, so it's interesting to see how it will go with other jumps and will it be closer to the first version or not - I really liked solo 3A in the end but at the same time I like longer IB too. His slowness in Saitama didn't bother me, I guess I was too excited to be there in the first place I would like new SP cuz for me Otonal doesn't sound as second season music material. It's good but not as good as Chopin. Also it was designed for all the jumps in the first half, though by CoR new music addition worked well. But I also wonder if he will repeat one and not the other, obviously he thinks Otonal can get better (will he include 4Lz in the SP I wonder). OK, one more week and no more theories

He needed 4Lo back then cuz it put less burden on his foot and 4T was limited for a long time, also it seems like he decided to leave Seimei till Olys. It's hard to compare situations cuz for sure more injuries didn't make anything easier. Or maybe he remembers how hard it was back then with new programs and jumps. Hope we'll get at least some interviews after first competition.

Well, personally I would prefer at least a new SP, but in Yuzu's case when he tries to merge all the programs with music (and not only some random hand gestures) I understand why it might be too consuming for him: to create new programs, add difficult jumps, try to stay healthy after hard season, so I'll really accept anything.

He wore some deep V-necks in the past but was not seen much, also I think that got me more surprised isn't even V-neck but rather that it's not black nice outfit anyway))
