  1. Adam Siao Him Fa left Brian Joubert and he is now coached by Laurent Depoully Great picture of Kevin Aymoz in Courchevel
  2. Yes, it's another one from Hochi Shimbun, and it'll be released on 17 June. So there'll be three photobooks released in June, the Ice Jewels season photobook which came out yesterday, the Hochi photobook and Dancin'on The Edge3 on June 19.
  3. Welcome to the Planet! On page 127 there is a handwritten message from Yuzu. He's a translation of it:
  4. Kovtun gave an interesting interview and he talked about coaching, quads, and he even mentioned Yuzu Maxim Kovtun: Orser gives more freedom to an athlete, Tutberidze has more clarity and discipline
  5. The Cricket Club is probably the nicest ice rink that I've seen before, mainly because of the wood and its colours, it has a 'warm' atmosphere to it. While most ice rinks look more plain or have a more 'cold' atmosphere. I also like the big windows and the restaurant behind them, it just looks so fancy.
  6. It's Fantasy on Ice time this time of the year so yes, in the end of May/June he is usually in Japan. And it seems quarantine for travellers entering Canada is mandatory for 14 days as of now.
  7. He showed a lot of improvement here compared to SC, it was a great performance. And the famous PPOS reveal...:D I almost fainted when I was watching the stream and saw that he changed the costume. It was such a good choice in every way It also looked much better on ice than the white one (I liked the white one off ice but his legs just weren't that visible when he was on the ice.)
  8. The men's event from Worlds 2017 was by far the most viewed one that ISU streamed in the past two months though. There are almost twice as many views as Ladies, Pairs and Ice Dance (also Worlds 2017) put together, and it says a lot because Ladies is usually also a popular event. ISU advertised it on their social media and I think many Yuzu fans watched the streams. But the numbers could've been much higher if Yuzu fans from China had access to YouTube. (if I'm not mistaken YT is blocked in mainland China and they can't use it).
  9. Yuzu'll be back II - 2019-2020 Dancin' on the Edge 3 Photobook will be released on June 19. It will have photos from ACI 2019 to Four Continents 2020.
  10. That was fun to watch. A nice comment from Lloyd Jones about Yuzu:
  11. Yuzu is at around 10 min mark, and there is also some interesting statistics at the end of the video.
  12. It is official. The article also says it will include senior and junior skaters too. https://rsport.ria.ru/20200523/1571884469.html In other news there is a long and interesting interview with Rukavitsin, he talks about many topics including coaching Aliev and Ignatov, and about the changes in the rules. He doesn't agree with such big changes mid-Olympic cycle and about the new BV of Lutz and Loop (this is not surprising). https://fsrussia.ru/intervyu/5015-evgenij-rukavitsyn-moi-sportsmeny-nauchili-menya-doveryat-im-na-kazhdom-shagu-i-pod-kazhdogo-solomy-ne-podstelit.html
  13. I'm sort of at some of the things Nathan has said recently. Of course he works hard, and I doubt it is *really* the worst advice he has ever received. And skaters who have multiple quads already have a significant advantage that shows in both TES especially if they also get high GOEs, but also in PCS because it is how things work. It is especially Nathan who has a big advantage here, and he wants more which I don't understand. It would also make the gap between the top skaters and those who don't have that quads even bigger.
  14. I had fun coloring LGC I added gold and silver to make the end result more accurate
  15. There is a long interview with Lorenzo Magri, the coach of Daniel Grassl in an Italian newspaper. He criticized quite a lot how ISU handled the situation before they cancelled Worlds. "People died, but the ISU did not decide. Does figure skating exist in Italy? Sometimes I wonder... "
  16. His first international competition was also in Finland, just days after he turned 10 years old (Santa Claus Cup, 2004 in Tampere, Finland). (x) That's five out of 5! No wonder if he loves Finland
  17. According to the secretary general of the Slovakian Figure Skating Association, the JGP and Nepela Memorial competitions were cancelled because holding these events would be too risky. https://www.bumm.sk/sport/2020/05/18/szeptemberi-versenyeket-is-torolt-egy-szlovak-sportszovetseg
  18. I got Sochi 2014 Gold! (x)
  19. It's always USA vs Russia in this sport, now things happen how the latter wants it. Yeah. RIP Lutz (1913-2020).
  20. It's a nice message. Even if it was written by her parents, well done. They're handling the PR side of it much better than Team Tutberidze. And the part about the flowers
