  1. No, it doesn't seem so. The source says she wasn't satisfied with her position in the group and the lack of attention she got there. The interesting thing is that they also claim that Tutberidze's skaters didn't feel support even online, that she hasn't been in touch with them for a while now since she she's been in the US with her daughter. Translation:
  2. Ah, I didn't expect such a long video from Yuzu, it's really kind from him that he did it. He even styled his hair lmao I'm going to rewatch it all day. Thank you Yuzu
  3. Ashley and Tim were training together before the lockdown and after that they were learning the choreo for their new free program in the middle of April so it doesn't seem at all that he retired or they split up.
  4. Austrian skater Olga Mikutina has resumed training today ETA:

  6. His skating caught my attention because it was different from what I have seen before. I liked Johnny's skating before but I thought Yuzu was something more and his skating was more exciting. He was already very good with great jumps and spins, and I thought then he was a very expressive already at such a young age. He skated with such commitment, speed and there was a youthful 'wildness' in his skating combined with ease and elegance which I found exciting. I loved Etude in the 2011/12 season, it was my favourite program then. I thought he had big potential and actually I was optimistic when I read the news in 2012 that he moved to Toronto. I hoped I would be able to follow his development over the years and watch his skating and I couldn't be more grateful that I did.
  7. New ISU communcation about 2020/21 season plans and the ISU Awards (yes...) https://isu.org/inside-isu/isu-communications/communications/24310-2320-decisions-of-council-meeting-april-28-2020/file
  8. Eunsoo's short program costumes were beautiful this season (though Somewhere in Time was also in 2018/19) Kaori's Matrix costumes were original and different from what we usually see, and they matched the theme perfectly. Japanese skaters usually have very nice costumes. Wakaba's or Yuhana's FS costumes for example looked also very good this season. Azusa's SP costume is beautiful and colourful, though it doesn't really reflect the music. From the juniors I liked Sinitsyna's short program costume, or Valieva's free skate costume. If I have to pick one my favourite of the season was Tomoe's free skate costume, I liked its subtle elegance, the details on it and the unusual colour combinations.
  9. Congratulations and welcome to the club of lawyers! I am not sure I would have finished with my studies in time if the Planet existed back then when I studied for my bar exams (I had 5 overall) the first one was days after Nice 2012 and I only allowed myself to watch the last few skaters of the men's free skate that I really really wanted to watch, otherwise I was studying non-stop (but then I couldn't resist watching the medal ceremony and baby Yuzu jumping from joy too ).
  10. Good point but I wish she would stay off social media for a while. She doesn't help the situation when she posts unnecessary pictures on her SNS and fights with people in the comment section, on the contrary, she adds fuel to the fire. I don't think anything good will come out of her situation at this point. It's disappointing to say the least.
  11. Thank you to all satellites for making the Planet such a nice place and I hope we all will be able to continue to support and cheer for Yuzu together in the future as well. Keep safe everyone!
  12. Great compilation. It's so pleasing to watch his jumps, they're perfect. Maybe no new interview, but some extracts from 4CC press conference? This magazine usually has transcrips of his interviews from competitions.
  13. Check this separate thread about it.

  15. This week, training for the Hungarian team has resumed and skaters have started preparing for next season. Two negative coronavirus tests were required for the skaters and coaches to be allowed to train again. http://hunskate.hu/hirek/szovetseg/kozlemeny-8
